This is the fastest CPU I have ever used, but it works differently than you might think compared to a normal CPU without 3d cache. You will need these requirements to unlock the capabilities of the best cpu on the market from AMD:After install physically:1. Install amd chipset drivers so that the 3d vcache optimization services are running.This will access the full use of this 3d cache feature. You can find this as an installation option when you first run AMD Adrenaline software.2. Download and jnstall Process Lasso.You will need this to set your games CPU affinity to the first 8 cores. These are the 3D vcache cores and by setting the affinity in process lasso you will guarantee whatever game or program you are running is exclusively using 3d vcache.You can also optionally disable the second CCD (CCD 1) in the bios and this will force everything to run on 8 3d vcache cores. I wouldn't recommend that though as if you're buying this CPU you're likely using it for productivity tasks as well as gaming, which makes process lasso a good solution.Even though this CPU requires a bit more effort to get going, once it is running properly this thing is an absolute monster and will tear through any workload you throw at it.

If you're building a brand new system and the motherboard blames the CPU - don't you believe it. Your CPU is probably fine. I bought the 7950X3d for content creation. Not sure if this speeds up the process of compiling shaders in Unreal Editor or Blender. But it does help Blender render frames faster. I upgraded from an i5-9600K which means going from 6 threads to 32. At last I can justify rendering videos in Cycles versus EEVEE. This 7950X3d pairs nicely with my RTX4070 which is finally on a board that supports PCIE4. While Unreal Editor still takes 5 minutes to load and another 5 to open a project - it does seem to run my simulations a lot smoother. Can't wait to see how it does with DaVinci Resolve Studio. I wouldn't even know that Ryzen exists if it weren't for the fact that Unreal Editor "wants" at least 12 cores and (at the time) Intel kept insisting that what i really "want" is E-cores. I think the "E" is for "e-maginary". So when I noticed the 7950X3d had 16 guaranteed cores with a possibility of 32 threads - I sensed an opportunity to speed up Unreal Editor. And then when I learned about the sensible power consumption and reduced heat emissions plus the fact that you don't have to use an AIO - I was convinced.

El precio es muy alto pero una vez instalado y probado (tanto para gaming como para tareas de compresión/descompresión de archivos) es el mejor CPU que haya tenido. Necesita un buena disipación de calor y una excelente pasta térmica. En W11 tiene un desempeño increíble, lo tengo emparejado con una GPU Gigabyte AMD RX 7900 GRE y nunca bajo de los 160 fps tanto en multijugadores en línea como en juegos en solitario en modo historia. Lo máximo que he logrado son 600 fps. En una CPU de la cuál no deberás preocuparte en reemplazar por lo menos durante 5 años ya que el poder de procesamiento es increíble. Si deseas armar una PC de alto desempeño está debería ser tu primera opción.

Processador super potente para o que preciso: Renders e jogos. Não sei se é o software da AMD, o da placa mãe Asus, ou o próprio windows, mas as vezes ele dá uns picos de temperatura, como se eu estivesse fazendo algum trabalho pesado. Mas é algo rápido, não chega a 1 minuto e já volta a temperaturas normais pra ele, cerca de 50 graus aqui na Bahia (Nordeste do Brasil). Meu watercooler é dos mais baratinhos, um galax, e está dando conta de manter ele refrigerado. Nos renders por CPU chega de 85 à 90 graus C. Com o ar condicionado ligado a 25 graus em média, ele bate 44 graus por padrão. Bem menos que o 13900K que tinha antes. Pra quem vai usá-lo para jogos, o melhor é só habilitar os 8 núcleos do cache 3D, pois ganha mais quadros por segundo que deixar os 16 habilitados. É um processador que consome muito em estoque, se comparado aos outros processadores AMD, mas consome bem menos que os Intel. Só sucesso!
