Unfortunately, after setting up my computer and turning it on, the thing wouldn’t POST. Also, the LEDs that indicate what’s wrong just told me that the CPU and RAM were not detected. Couldn’t do anything:
- tried the bios update via USB, didn’t work
- reset bios via cmos, didn’t work
- removed RAM and tested different slots, didn’t work.
Ended up disassembling the PC, then had to RMA the motherboard. Bought an ASUS motherboard with the same feature-set and a slightly higher price. Re-assembled the computer and it booted totally normally, no issues with anything.
So it sucks, and I guess these things happen, but for that reason I’m giving it a one-star. A monumental hassle from start to finish
I got this because the price was good for the features, a budget X670E board that had everything I wanted!
