Absolutely love it, with an A7iv I can now take 10 pictures per second in compressed file and there is no buffer.
What I didn't give much thought to is how much quicker the read speed is too, taking 1000 pictures off the card now takes less than 2 minutes, it's a game changer, I used to come back from trips and just leave the photos for later because it took up to an hour just to get photos off the card. Now I find myself eagerly looking through them the moment I get home.
Needed a good quality compact flash card for my camera and chose Lexar as I believe them to be one of the best on the market. This card does what it is supposed to do and has never let me down. If you want a card never buy cheap ones, they will at some point let you down, now saying that any card can fail, but so far I have never had a Lexer card fail on me. I'm reviewing this card from the experience I have had with them and have always been satisfied with them.
Skeptical at this price , but tested with H2testw v1.4 . results as follows, Writing speed: 96.9 MByte/s, Reading speed: 112 MByte/s, Test finished without errors. and the size was accurate. I have had new cards that have failed the test in the last year so recommend using this simple test to verify any card as lost data can be irreplaceable. This card will format and work in a Canon 7d camera.

Bought this CF express B card for my Nikon Z8 and it works well for stills. I have not used the camera for video yet so cant really comment how well it will perform taking videos. For still photos yes I would recommend it!

Having recently added a Nikon D850 to my kit bag, it soon became apparent that I couldn't get away with simply using an SD card. For video and high speed continuous, shooting would grind to a halt very quickly with an SD card. Like it or not, I knew I'd have to bite the bullet and buy a high speed CFExpress card.
Now having done a little bit of research, it soon became apparent that QXD cards are old hat. If you want the latest (and fastest) you need CFExpress. Now Lexar has always had a very good reputation for memory cards so I was keen to see what they had to offer. Looking around, it soon became apparent that high speed, premium brand CFExpress cards don't come cheap - a 128GB card is still around £170 if you want a decent branded card. You can therefore imagine I jumped pretty quick when I saw that the Lexar 128GB card being sold everywhere else for £170 was only £132 on Amazon. That's a big saving!
The card arrived next day in small retail packaging with the card itself safely stored within a plastic card case. Sticking the card into my Nikon D850, the first thing I tried was continuous high speed shooting - I set the camera to full resolution, non-compressed RAW and hit the shutter release. The camera started cranking through shutter actuations like an MG-42 on full automatic with no sign of slow down. After about 20 seconds or so, it was STILL going with no slow down at all.
Now Lexar quote a maximum write speed of 1750 mb/s but of course what really matters is sustained write speed. This is where cheaper brands normally fall flat on their faces but not the Lexar - it manages to achieve a good 1000 mb/s sustained which should be fast enough for 99% of people shooting uncompressed video and RAW files.
RAW files from a D850 aren't small - each image from my little test above was about 56 mbytes so you can imagine that 9 frames per second for 20 seconds is going to produce a lot of data! 180 images at 56 mbytes per image = over a Gigabyte of images! Transferring all that data needs a high speed memory card reader so don't hesitate to buy a decent CFExpress USB-C (or similar) card reader if you haven't got one already!
My little review really has only scratched the surface of the capabilities of this card. As you can tell, I’m impressed. It’s fast. In fact, it’s insanely fast. Is it the fastest card money can buy? Not quite - even Lexar’s own Diamond series cards are faster - but most people will find the Lexar professional series more than adequate for their needs. Only really problem is choosing which capacity to buy - I bought a 128GB card and even now wish I’d gone for the 256GB or even the 512GB!

Gekocht voor de Canon R5 en dat werkt heel goed! Zeer snelle dataoverdracht en stevige behuizing. Prijs kwaliteit vol in orde. Niet zo sterk en snel als mijn Sony TOUGH, maar die zijn dan ook veel duurder.
