Both cards I bought had the correct capacity confirmed by a filling the card and then re-reading the contents. Speed during a full write of the disk was a consistent 29 MB/s. No problem so far.
I recently purchased the Lexar PLAY 1TB Micro SD Card, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of storage capacity and speed. With a whopping 1TB of space, I can now carry my entire media library with me on the go. The microSDXC UHS-I card offers lightning-fast read speeds of up to 150MB/s, ensuring quick access to my files.
Pros:
Massive 1TB capacity - Perfect for storing large amounts of data, including photos, videos, and games. Impressive read speed - Up to 150MB/s read speed ensures swift file transfers and smooth media playback. Versatile compatibility - Works seamlessly with various devices, including smartphones, tablets, cameras, and gaming consoles. Reliable performance - The Lexar brand is known for its quality and durability, ensuring long-term reliability. Portable convenience - Its compact size and easy-to-use design make it ideal for travel and on-the-go storage needs.
Cons:
Price - The 1TB capacity comes at a higher price point compared to lower-capacity microSD cards. However, it provides excellent value for the storage space offered. In conclusion, the Lexar PLAY 1TB Micro SD Card is a game-changer for those who require ample storage on portable devices. With its massive capacity and impressive read speed, it delivers reliable performance and convenience. Whether you're a content creator or a gamer, this microSD card is a worthwhile investment for expanding your storage capabilities.
I had some issues with another manufacturer’s high capacity card when used with the Ricoh GR iii (“Unable to store image” error), but this Lexar card has worked perfectly so far. Write speed is sufficiently high for working with RAW+JPEG (around 70MB per photo) without slowing down - although if you shoot in burst mode this will depend on your camera’s buffer size. Overall really good value for the capacity (price at time of purchase was around £20 for 256GB).
Memory expansion for a kids tablet, not the fastes write speeds but it's good storage capacity for the price and seems reliable so far. No gripes with performance or app slow downs
I have put this memory card in my daughters camera and she has been recording and taking photos for a while now. No issues reported and was able to transfer photos and videos to laptop. Playback on the camera works fine as well.
This arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order which was fantastic.
I wanted to use this in my Huawei Mate 20 Pro phone to double the storage from 128gb to 256gb as the videos from my wildlife camera are filling the storage up.
Installation is simple. I found a YouTube video on how to remove the SIM, as the tray in this phone is twin sided, the SIM going one side and the NM card the other. It will take a 2nd SIM, depending on the model, mine isn't recent enough unfortunately.
Having pushed the SIM tray back into the phone and powered on, I downloaded an App to test the card. The True SD Capacity/Speed Test App is free and it confirmed that the card is working ok. Downside is that the tests take about 20 mins to write to the card and another 30 mins to read/check the data. Bit it proves the card works ok and isn't faulty.
The next thing is to move folders from the main phone storage to the card, and it's here that I ran into a snag, since having moved the folder for my videos, the wildlife camera App still wanted to save them to the main phone storage. After a couple of hours of trying I gave up, so it's maybe best to check before you buy that you can still do what you need using storage on the card.
I believe you can install Apps on the card, in which case they might work ok using data on the card as well. I haven't tried that yet.
However, if you want this to just download your own music, videos and movies to the phone, I can't see that you would have any problems.
Hope this helps, but essentially it's a relatively cheap way to increase the storage capacity of your phone if it takes an NM card instead of an SD card.
Purchased for use in my steam deck. Good value. Performs the way it is supposed to. No issues with fitting no problems with formatting. Fitted in card slot with no problem with no scraping sound or resistance. Once installed file transfer was easy and fast.
Amazons Sale price of £7.99 made it a must buy for Gifts. Had a few duff cards from Amazon over the years but the majority of items have been well up to scratch. These cards seem well reviewed for the Nintendo-Switch so here's hoping all fine.
