Not a fast stick, but worth having
As you can see from the image, this is not a fast stick. The stick is plugged into a USB 3 socket and is having data copied to it from an SSD - in other words, a potentially very fast system. It started off copying at a reasonable speed, then after about ten seconds it dropped to below 10Mbits/sec, only occasionally peaking for a few seconds before dropping back again.I knew what I was buying before I clicked on Buy, so why just the three stars? Well, I expected it to be a bit faster than it's turned out - it's definitely not a stick for day-to-day use, that's for sure - and there was some software already on the stick (actually from Lexar; this is a new stick!) that was of no use/interest to me, so that had to be dumped by a quick format just to be sure.I don't regret buying this stick, I'd just hoped for a birt more speed than I actually got.

Really nice heft and feel, even comes with a case - Quite large for a USB drive, but if you want speed it is best to avoid the smaller drives.
Speed: I can copy a folder of 25 songs, 2.78GB in just under 15 seconds / Seven folders total 550 photos, 1.17GB just over 7 seconds.

En realidad un poco menos (ver fotografía de rendimiento) pero la velocidad es suficiente para poder copiar una gran cantidad de datos en poco tiempo.
Por ahora, muy contento con la compra. Aunque su precio es superior a otros pendrives de su misma capacidad, el precio compensa esa velocidad.

Ich verwende seit Jahren die Vorgänger P10 und P20 aus der Zeit, als Lexar noch eine Marke des amerikanischen Herstellers Micron war... und war enttäuscht, als es diese nach einem Wechsel des Herstellers nicht mehr gab. Nun ist Lexar eine Marke eines chinesischen Herstellers, und deren Top-USB-Stick P30 ist immer noch ein sehr guter Stick. Er kommt zwar nicht an die Haptik bzw. Anfassqualität und Verarbeitung der Vorgänger heran, liefert aber weiterhin stabile Schreibgeschwindigkeiten, im Gegensatz zu einigen Top-Sticks anderer bekannter Hersteller, die beim Schreiben viele Gigabytes umfassender Dateien periodisch zwischen Max-Geschwindigkeit und schlappen 30 - 40 MBytes/sec pendeln.
