Used these on my Macbook Pro 15" Mid 2015 to add above the fins on the heatsink to help keep the power hungry CPU and GPU cool. Lowered the temps by around 5C. These thermal pads were easy to cut, and stuck well to the heatsink, and are clearly effective. The back case of the Macbook gets noticebly warmer where the pads were installed, a clear indication that the pads are very effective. Definetly recommend if you're looking to upgrade or replace existing thermal pads.

Passively cooled and overclocked Raspberry Pi and not thermal throttling. Dropped my temps by a few degrees from the already good thermal pad the FLIRC case came with. Does a pretty good job.

I have no doubt this will work for various other applications as well, such as your GPU's VRMs and such... It works quite well. Still, probably not a replacement for your thermal paste so I would only use it to replace old pads (or new but not good pads)
