Really well engineered product. Works like a treat and was easy to install once I figured out I needed to loosen the gas arm in order to get the arm in the down position so I could find the right mounting point. Mounting holes have enough room that you can still line up after fitting the rawlplugs. I used different plugs because I'm fitting to plasterboard. Didn't end up needing the extension arm, the product can work with just a single arm. Love the little spirit level provided..

* Incorrectly rated at "43"/49" Ultrawide, up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs)"
* Extremely difficult to tighten the link in the image sufficiently to hold a 39" display vertical
* Wall mount and extension vertical posts do not employ roller bearings or even smooth bearing surfaces but simple painted castings so horizontal movement is very stiff
The Ugly:
* The vertical link in the image is poorly designed; it should really have serrated surfaces and washers to prevent the display falling forward or a thumbwheel screw to adjust the vertical display alignment rather than rely on a pinch bolt of insufficient size
* Extension arms are held on vertical posts with a sprung bolt screwing into plastic trims with surprisingly sharp edges
The thread in the trim gags on the bolt thread and spins the trim round so consider wearing a heavy glove to hold the trim - I now have a sizeable gash in my finger from it

Conclusion:
This mount is unsuitable for 39" ultrawide monitors, whatever the description says
I should have spent double on something more capable

I chose this arm based on the fact it says it can handle ultrawides, specifically my 34" ultrawide. While technically it does support it, the stability is terrible. The added weight makes it really difficult to adjust the monitors position, and it honestly was just a pain to even get the monitor level. I tried mounting it in two different positions on the wall, and neither made it particularly easy to use. The battery in my drill died so it's currently still mounted to my wall, in it's current position I might slap one of those laptop trays on it and just use it as a floating laptop stand, it should be able to handle that just fine.

EDIT: Update, after adding a tray to support a laptop I'm now using this arm as laptop stand. The adjustment up and down is great, but anything that requires the two arms to pivot is quite difficult to do. It's not the easy fluid motion a lot of online videos lead you believe.

ARCTIC W1-3D utilisé pour supporter un écran ultrawide 34" de 7kg, ce support maintient parfaitement mon écran dans n'importe quelle positions. Après 1 semaines d'utilisation j'ai retrouvé mon écran totalement incliné vers le bas, mais en serrant au maximum la vis d'inclinaison, l'écran ne bouge plus ,et ce même si on y applique une petite pression pour qu'il descende.
Le bras est de bonne qualité et et robuste, toutes les pièces nécessaire à l'installation sont fournies (vis, chevilles, clés Allen). Un guide bien détaillé pour l'installation se trouve aussi dans la boite.
Possibilité de faire passer les câbles de l'écran le long du bras pour ne pas qu'ils pendent dans le vide.
Je le recommande pour ceux qui veulent un support mural totalement réglable et qui ont un moniteur plutôt grand (de 27" à 34").

Ich habe lang nach einer passenden ergonomischen Wandhalterung für meinen 32" Bildschirm (ca. 5 Kg) gesucht welche nicht gleich 150€ kostet und dann die W1-3D von Arctic gekauft. Die Installation war nach ca. 30min erledigt, ausser einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher wird alles mitgeliefert was man zur Montage benötigt. Um den Bildschirm an der VESA-Halterung festzuschrauben musste ich zusätzlich 2 Unterlegscheiben pro Schraube verwenden, da sie für mich etwas zu lang waren, aber das war fix erledigt.

Man kann den Bildschirm in alle erdenklichen Positionen bringen. Dabei lassen sich alle Gelenke kinderleicht bewegen. Wem die Gelenke zu leichtgängig sind, der kann sie mit den eingesetzten Madenschrauben schwergängiger machen. Der Gaslift-Arm lässt sich mit dem mitgelieferten Imbusschlüssel leicht einstellen.

Die einzigen Dinge die ich bemängeln kann sind...

1. ... die Verstellung für die Neigung. Ich muss die Schraube schon gut anknallen damit der Bildschirm nicht nach vorne kippt. Da ich die Neigung aber nicht permanent verstellen möchte ist das ok für mich.

2. ... die Kabelführung, welche sehr eng bemessen ist. Ich hab weder einen normalen HDMI-Stecker, noch den Power-Stecker meines Bildschirms durch die Laschen bekommen und mir am Ende mit ein paar Kabelbindern beholfen.

Trotzdem ist die Halterung für den Preis angemessen verarbeitet und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Bis auf die Abdeckungen sind alle Teile aus Metall gegossen. Wen die beiden Punkte oben nicht stören, der wird zufrieden sein.

Wichtiger Hinweis noch: Wer den Bildschirm, so wie ich, im eingeklappten Zustand mittig platziert haben möchte sollte vorher genau nachmessen, da der Gaslift-Arm ein gutes Stückchen länger ist als der Extension-Arm.
