Whilst we are delighted with our Wii consol and Wii fit plus, using it every day for 2-3 hrs. the balance board is very inaccurate in its weight readings.I weigh 8st. 10lbs on 3 home weighing machines, and on the Boots machine. The Wii board always reads me at 7st 7lbs, = or - anything up to 6lbs per day. We use it on a level surface and on a wooden board. It also measures my husband at 1 stone under his weight. If we were not well-adjusted adults, this could cause serious problems in our eating habits.
However, I find the balance exercises and yoga routine very helpful, and well designed for my age. The routine can easily be followed by the hard-of-hearing or blind, as instructions are written and spoken. I think most people would find something they could do and enjoy, regardles of their athletic ability or age.
I would like to know if there is supposed to be a light on the LCD, as ours doesn't have one.

I bought this expecting it as I read it.
Console arrived, did not look brand new, the games that come with it are scratched.
As soon as I set up the whole thing and try to play a game, the console says the disc can’t be read and there’s an error, I cleaned the disc and tried again, received the same message, saying the console couldn’t read the disc. I left it for a while and then when tried again, the console was not even accepting the discs, it would go in, make a weird noise and come straight back out. I am very disappointed, mainly because it said “ like new “ but everything comes scratched and not working, not even to mentioned the prices paid for something that doesn’t fully work.

I bought a used console from this page and was disappointed and worried when it arrived. It was not like new at all, and looked very used. Most things were worn and scratched. As soon as I opened the box, I was wary because you could tell the way it was packaged that it was well used.

The controller was missing a wrist strap and the rubber casing, which are essential for using this to prevent the TV from being smashed if I lose control while playing bowling or baseball.

I am lucky as it works perfectly. It did a firmware update on installation and performs all the functions expected of it. It doesn't run slowly or have disk problems either, so that is a bonus. It plays all my games perfectly and works well with my wii fit board.

It might be a bit of a gamble buying something advertised as used or like new but I am lucky this time. It works fine.
