I wasn't prepared to settle for one that had less clock speed than my last PC and if you are building a PC for gaming then the chances are you will have a graphics card and don't need to spend the extra amount for the inclusion of integrated graphics. Keep in mind that it doesn't come with a fan when you buy it so you will need to get one separately.

Actualicé de un i7 6700K a este nuevo i5 y vaya que se nota la diferencia, tengo una RTX 2080 y ya no tengo cuello de botella en juegos competitivos con gráficos al mínimo (CSGO, Valorant, Fortnite, etc) y en algunos juegos mejoró mi frametime.

En cuanto a productividad no lo he probado porque no hago esas cosas pero en reseñas especializadas muestran que está muy a la par del Ryzen 5800X así que también muy bien en ese aspecto.

Si vas a armar desde cero o tienes un procesador de hace 5 años o más recomiendo mucho dar este salto de generación.
