Nice solid performer for a mid range motherboard. Has everything I needed in terms of M4 hard drive provision x3, 4 RAM slots, USB 3 and C provision etc. Installed a graphics card that required three sets of power leads and had to buy an additional set of cables for it, but there was enough provision on the board to supply three independent power supplies with no doubling up. Thankfully, reading some other reviews, no issues so far after a few months.
Brilliant x670 board, purchased when on offer £309. I don’t think you would be unhappy with this board by gigabyte. It came with bios f5 and I did have to install the latest f6 straight away as expected to get the bug fixes. Not experienced any problems works flawlessly, Paired with a 7900x and g.skill neo 5600 cl28 32Gb memory. Msi 4080 gpu. I received a rev 1.0 board and I think it was the last 1 Amazon had instock due to it being out of stock after I purchased so I reckon they will get the rev 1.1 with there next batch of stock.
Motherboard caused me a massive headache setting up, requiring a CMOS reset after any hardware change (e.g. removing RAM or GPU) and only had one functioning memory lane. After a lot of trial and error I did get it to boot, but completely stopped working after unplugging from the mains over night. All problems fixed with an alternative MSI x670. I would not recommend any Gigabyte AM5 motherboard as even when I had it working for a little bit the BIOS was a huge pain and assume they share similar issues.
I dont want to say that this mobo is boring, but it is, you install all of the things and screw it into your case and it 'just works'. Great NVME capacity, 4 slots is amazing, network connectivity is fab also with the 2.5gb ethernet, wifi is pretty sweet too. This is my first AM5 build after being on AM4 forever, and I love it. I have this paired with a 7800X3D, 6000mhz RAM and it's stable AF.... like I said, boring, it does what it's supposed to, I dont know what else to say other than if the price point is right, then go for it. Gigabyte is an established manufacturer so you're going to get quality, and I have no complaints.
The board itself is very well designed, including a easy clip for the PCIEx16 slot for the GPU to provide easy removal for cleaning purposes, alongside this there is ample gap between my CPU cooler and the GPU itself, around a 2cm gap with a Noctua NH-D15s and my 4060.
WiFi driver turns off and disables itself every now and again and then my PC would blue screen. Only fix was restarting the whole thing. Works fine without problems for a couple of days/weeks then has periods of time when it will frequent blue screen back to back when playing games for about 30 minutes. Saw other people have the same exact issue with the board so I'm returning mine for a different brand.
Ottimo scheda madre AM5 and processori Ryzen di 7 generazione X670E overclok sbloccato Windows 11 molto stabile BIOS aggiornato 2023 RAM a 6200 MHz DDR5 stabili
This is a great motherboard, the only issue is with the BIOS update. Even with Q-Flash, it sometimes fails and you have to spend hours updating the BIOS again and again until it works.
