Just upgrade system to 13 Gen which required DDR5 RAM. For the applications I use the performance is noticeable. For normal office tasks is not required. For task like video editing and flight sims the performance benefits are worth it.
Mine actually runs at 7000mHz under xmp on Asus b760 motherboard. 7200mhz won't boot. All you do is set it to xmp I and then raise the frequency to 7000 and reboot.
Corsair is widely reputable and I have no complaints about this ram, it went straight into my system and I have experienced no crashes with it whatsoever. Good capacity and enough speed to satisfy.
Despite some reviews with issues on the XMP profile I've had no problems on my Z790 14900K system.
I've even run a full memory tests with the 6400Mhz XMP profile to ensure its fine and it passed without issue. I do memory tests every 6 months on my key PCs due to experience of one having a few failed bits in the RAM after a few years of service, so I'll repeat tests in due course but for now everything is working as expected.
One point to note is some motherboards don't have 8 layer construction which means more variance on track length which is an issue with ever faster RAM and other related components. Gigabyte for example updated some of their boards from 6 to 8 layer to resolve higher speed RAM and related issues so I wonder if some problems people experience aren't the RAM but motherboard related.
Wanted to add to my already 32gb this was the same serial numbers and speed slotted in and it worked straight away yes i did have to turn on XMP but 10 second job, haven't had a problem at all. i have a i9 13900k and a RTX 4090 i just wanted the most for gaming and photoshop stuff in gaming i got about 4% increase in fps due to the 4 dimms being in use ( dual channel stuff :P ) and in photoshop i found i went from 4 crashes ( using too much ram ) a day to 1 every other day ( 32gb to 64gb ) make a difference having that headroom.
Well xmp is set to 6400mhz at cl32 but would not boot on my Msi z790 mag motherboard, had to reduce to 6000mhz. Now stable and hope a bios update in the future will help.
Fast and reasonably priced considering other alternaitves cost £10 less but are significantly slower. Overall satisfied, worth spending the extra £10-20 over other sticks that arent half as fast. Lots of sub 6000hz cl40+ sticks being sold for £10 less that dont make sense when they should be £30-40 cheaper instead.

Bought this for my new build as I am fussy on what I install in my systems. This performs well with no bottle necking and no slow down. It is on a MSI 650 Main board with Ryzen CPU. They work wall together on my MSI 650 Tomahawk wifi board. Nice match.
Ottime. Ho avuto qualche dubbio al primo avvio dei due PC sui quali le ho montate (entrambi con i5 13600k, uno su B760 tomahawk l'altro su Z790 tomahawk), perchè dal bios venivano lette a 4800 Mhz anche impostando il profilo XMP1 predefinito. Ho temuto che il fatto che questo specifico modello non fosse tra i modelli esplicitamente dichiarati come compatibili dal produttore della motherboard, mi fossi imbarcato in un acquisto errato, e invece...
Vanno alla velocità dichiarata (6400 Mhz CL32) impostando l'overclock delle memorie. Su schede MSI lo si puà fare comodamente dal bios in modalità avanzata, oveclock e usando la funzione TRY IT! (scorrere nella lista delle opzioni) che apre un menu a tendina dal quale impostare l'accoppiata di frequenza e cas latency. Impostate a 6400 cl32, salvato, riavviato e ora vanno alla velocità e latenza dichiarate.
