Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

After my entire life with Intel I decide to go for AMD. In the beginning I was focussed on the 7800x3d but eventually I bought the 7600X to play at 1440p. I was a bit sad, cause I really wanted thr 7800x3d but to invest the extra money for a 4070Super I had to go for thr 7600X. The reality is this processor is really good, I understans the X3D is superior but this R5 is amazing, little undervolt and a 100mhz overclock and hit on CB r23 onlu 77°C and games... incredible. For navigation, muktitasking and gaming is a bezt buy option. I did understimate it, probably one day I'll fit a 9800X3D, but I'll enjoy this little beast.
If your like me and you play various games, upgrading to the AM5 platform is defo worth the move up. I play at 1440p with an ACER 3440x1440 monitor and ASRock 7800XT GPU.
I have mine cooled with a Thermalright Assassin King 120, does the job fine on a budget. Both cpu and cooler are dead easy to install.
Games like Path of Exile and Diablo get way better returns from the 7600x compared to my previous 5600x. PoE avg went from 106 > 155 (big boost) and Diablo 4 from 113 to 143. So for games like this, you can then fine tune them to run 120 and keep the computer cool and quiet. Winner.
Apex is running in 1440p at 165fps, much better than the 5600x was running it.
Obviously my PC runs nice and snappy and would recommend upgrading to AM5. Especially with Zen 5 cpu's coming later this year.
Note: Obviously you could get a 7600 and boost it, but i'm not happy with overclocking so the extra few pounds is fine just to install and go.
I wasn't expecting much for the price but this really is a powerhouse. Running along side my older 3070ti it's more than capable of 4k gaming at a solid 60fps on my TV on any game at high-ultra settings. Great little overclocker too. Recommend!
It works flawlessly with my current gaming pc build I don't think I have had it reach 100% use yet but then again I don't usually have many apps/games open at the same time and only currently have one monitor. It was easy to install into my motherboard. High cost but it seems worth it for me as I have done some 3D modelling but only using Blender as Autodesk is outrageous in price. Works well with most modern games I've played so far. If it makes a noise I wouldn't notice seeing as I have a fan cooling it which is necessary as a heads up because it will oveheat without any cooling.
Wow, what a great CPU for a gaming setup. If you are planning on a high end gaming build dont shy away from the 7800X3D there is nothing this CPU will bottle neck right now. Amazing overclocking and is perfect for my 7900gre. Even tried it out with a little video editing and it does a great job for me as an amature but im sure it will be sufficiant for somebody more experianced as well.
I use 7950X for gaming and video processing. It crushes any workload I throw at it. Having proper cores with full AVX support is a big advantage in video encoding. Combined with 240mm AIO cooler, the temperatures are reasonable even in summer heat. Under load the CPU consumes 200W of power, so it needs a good PSU and cooler. Although in games it can be couple of frames behind the X3D version, I highly recommend this CPU as an all round option for both gaming and professional applications.
When choosing between this and the x version there is very little price difference. However seeing as aftermarket coolers are around £40 I opted for this model as it came with a stock cooler. I wrongly presumed that the low tdp of this cpu and that reviews said the cooler was sufficient, meant that I could use a stock cooler and save the £40 for an aftermarket one.
Sadly, the stock cooler is very small, I play games like rust and the cpu is hitting 70 degree when only under 50% load and the fan is noisy. A real shame and I regret not buying the x model now as I've had to go for the £40 aftermarket cooler anyway just to keep the thing coool.
As a processor, very good, runs fast, seems to perform perfectly well and my £550 gpu is the bottleneck in games still. But the stock cooler.... sush a waste, don't use it. It's noisy and does not work well.
CPU is great. Value for money is incredible, especially if you're a gamer looking for lots of cache. Installation was easy. Performance is phenomenal and efficiency in absolutely mindblowing.
The new ryzens 7 & 9 AM5 socket processors have used the intel method of pins being on the Motherbored and not on the processor. as some computer builders will testify its bloody easy to bend them pins if you drop or knock them in processor insalation. look on line and follow the instructions carfully.
Also AM5 have a thicker heat transfer plate to cope with tempratures and will idle at around 40c in say all this its a bloomin good processor and copes very well with everything i have thrown at it. i have had nothing yet that as sent to 80c which is it 100% temp rating appart from a benchmark test. Currently running mine on a ID cooler AOI that has kept it a 58-60c at 100% for 5 mins
Pelo fato dos pinos do am5 não ficarem no processador e sim na placa mãe, a instalação foi bem mais fácil e o desempenho dela em jogos é monstruosa, recomendo 100%

The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 is a powerhouse of a processor that delivers exceptional performance for both gaming and productivity tasks. With its 6 cores and 12 threads, it handles multitasking with ease, making it perfect for users who need a versatile and reliable CPU.
One of the standout features of this processor is its unlocked multiplier, which allows for overclocking. This means you can push the performance even further if you have adequate cooling and a compatible motherboard. The Ryzen 5 7600 also boasts impressive single-core performance, which is great for gaming and applications that rely on high clock speeds.
The efficiency of the Zen 4 architecture is evident in the power consumption and thermal management. Even under heavy loads, the processor maintains stable temperatures, ensuring consistent performance without throttling. The integrated support for the latest technologies, including PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 memory, future-proofs your system for upcoming advancements.
In summary, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 is an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a high-performance PC. It offers a great balance of power, efficiency, and value, making it a top contender in the mid-range processor market. Highly recommended!
Got this to replace a Ryzen 9 3900 XT and it is leaps and bounds ahead. Super fast and efficient and it is worth every penny.
For games it is really fast, and if you couple it with a good card (I tried both Radeon cards and Nvidia cards), you get way more than the integrated GPU. For professional work it is also great; I do 3d modeling and simulations and it is really fast overall.
