Mastery Badges

Few achievements are as prestigious as Mastery Badges. These rewards display your abilities with a specific vehicle.

To get a Mastery Badge, you must earn more XP in a single Random Battle than the average XP of a certain percentage of players who have been battling in the very same vehicle within the last seven days.

That might sound like a challenge, but rest assured that once you get this Mastery Badge, no one can take it from you!

CLASS III

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 50% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

CLASS II

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 80% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

CLASS I

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 95% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

ACE TANKER

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 99% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

To check your Mastery Badges, go to the Garage, click "Service Record" (top-center of your screen), select "Vehicles," and you'll see your list of tanks. If you already own a Mastery Badge for them, it will be displayed next to their name.

You can also acquire Tank Ace progressive decals depending on the number of Ace Tanker Mastery Badges you earn.

Marks of Excellence

These Marks are a bit like the Mastery Badges in that they're here to display your prowess on Tier V–X vehicles. However, this time, you can show them off directly on the field. Indeed, the Marks are automatically painted on your gun barrel. Flags, stars, lines, crosses... Every nation paints Marks of Excellence differently.

There are three levels of Marks of Excellence based on the average combined damage caused by one specific tank. This combined damage consists of the damage dealt to enemy vehicles by you plus the assist damage of vehicles spotted or immobilized (destroyed tracks) by you (or damage during stun if you play SPGs).

First Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 65% of players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

Second Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 85% of players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

Third Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 95% of players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

As for the calculation of the assist damage, only the assist type with the highest value will be considered. That means that assist damage by immobilizing, spotting, and stun are not counted together. If you rack up 1,000 HP of damage by immobilizing and 1,500 HP of damage by spotting, only the 1,500 HP of damage by spotting are counted towards the formula as it's the highest value.

Hall of Fame

Explore your career as a World of Tanks commander in the Hall of Fame. Available both on the official site and in-game, this prestigious page provides stats and rewards.

Elite System

Showcase your achievements and prowess, and get recognized by other players! The Elite System was implemented into the game with the arrival of Update 1.22.1 in October 2023.

How It Works

The Elite System is structured around a finite number of levels, each achieved on individual tanks through Elite Points. These points are earned based on Combat XP gained in a specific vehicle and are unique to that vehicle. Elite Points cannot be transferred to other tanks, similar to Free Experience.

Upon reaching the Elite status of a researchable vehicle (Premium, Reward, Special, and Collectors; vehicles have Elite status by default), you unlock the Elite Level indicator with a total of 350 Elite Levels. This indicator is displayed in in-game interfaces, including the garage, battle scenes, post-battle screens, and tank statistics.
