Celebrating the Anniversary of the French Air Force with a Decal!
The French Air Force became an independent part of the country’s armed forces on July 2nd 1934, exactly 90 years ago! The French Air Force fought in World War II, and subsequently participated in conflicts in Algeria, Egypt, Mauritania, Chad, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Mali. The French Air Force now has more than 500 aircraft in service, and two squadrons from the Deterrence Force are armed with nuclear missiles.

A Plane, Ship and Decal for the Anniversary of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces!
In 1952, American instructors trained the first soldiers of the Japanese National Security Forces. Two years later on July 1st 1954, the Japanese Self-Defense Forces were formed. In January 1955, the United States transferred its first 85 aircraft to the Japanese Air Self-Defense Forces. In total they have 712 aircraft in service, of which 321 are fighters.
Celebrating Swedish Air Force Day with Aircraft and a Unique Decal!
Since its founding on July 1st 1926, the Swedish Air Force has been involved in very few conflicts. One squadron of volunteers came to the aid of Finland in the Soviet-Finnish war, but in WWII Sweden remained neutral. Officially, the Swedish Air Force took part in battles only during the Congolese crisis in 1961-1964, and in 2011 they patrolled the skies over Libya.

Celebrating British Armed Forces Day with a Decal!
In the UK, Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of June. This celebratory day was approved in 2006 as Veterans Day, and then renamed to also honor currently serving soldiers and officers. More than 185,000 people serve in the British Armed Forces, of which 111,000 are in the army, 36,000 in the air force and 38,000 in the navy.

German Navy Day: Two Ships and a Decal!
On June 14th 1848, the newly formed German Empire founded a navy to confront Denmark, which had established a blockade on German ports. They took part in only one battle at Heligoland in 1849, but were unable to lift the blockade. In 1849, the empire ceased to exist, and in 1852 so did the navy. This memorable date remained and is celebrated as German Navy Day to this day.

Members of the Italian Navy celebrate Italian Navy Day on June 10th. The Italian Navy was founded in 1861, shortly after the unification of the country. Today it has more than 30,000 staff, 184 ships and 70 aircraft. They patrol the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian seas, as well as the Strait of Otranto.

Turkish Air Force Day: Get Yourself a Decal!
On June 1st, 1911, the first aircraft squadrons appeared in the Ottoman Empire with the support of Germany and France. In the early years of modern Turkey, its leadership paid special attention to the Air Force and by 1940, the Turkish Air Force became the largest in the Middle East and the Balkans, with more than 500 aircraft. Today, about 50,000 people and about 300 aircraft are in service with the Turkish Air Force.

Canadian Armed Forces Day: Get Yourself a Decal!
It’s customary to honor the Canadian Armed Forces on the first Sunday in June. Canada actively participated in World War II: the defense of Hong Kong in 1941, the raid on Dieppe in 1942, the liberation of Italy in 1943, Operation Overlord in 1944 and guarding convoys in the Atlantic Ocean. There are currently 68,000 people in the Canadian Armed Forces, 3,000 of which are stationed outside the country.

The Swedish Riksdag approved the founding of the National Security Forces Day on May 29th, 1940 against the backdrop of the outbreak of World War II, although territorial defense units began to be formed earlier. Today, their number exceeds 22,000 personnel, approximately half of the Swedish Army.
