Underdog Media, LLC, provides online publishers and marketers (our “Clients”) with products and technologies (“Products”, or “Technology”) that provide monetization solutions for our publisher clients and marketing opportunities for our marketing clients.

Underdog Media provides this privacy policy to online consumers regarding how our Technology (https://udmserve.net) collects and uses consumer data. This privacy policy also outlines how users can opt-out of data collection by Underdog Media. Privacy Practices

Underdog Media’s Publisher monetization products place digital advertising from our Marketing partners on our Publishers’ websites via our ad placements.  As a part of this process we record information that an ad was requested or delivered to the webpage.  This information does not include any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and is used for reporting and accounting purposes.

Personally and Non-Personally identifiable information

Personally Identifiable Information (PII):

Underdog Media does not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or information used or intended to identify an individual.  This type of information or PII typically includes things like: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address or social security number.  Again, we do not collect this form of information and simply put using your Personal Information to sell digital advertisements is not our business.   

Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII):

Underdog Media does collect some forms of Non-Personally Identifiable Information or what we refer to as Log Data.  This data is collected primarily for the purpose of protecting our Marketing clients from fraudulent traffic through the identification of Invalid Traffic (IVT) or Non-Human Traffic (NHT).  As part of our efforts to identify this type of online fraud, Underdog Media will analyze Log Data for a period of 7 days, while our systems look for signatures of suspicious activity.  After the 7-day period Log Data is then deleted.  Some examples of Log Date include: the referring http location from the page our Underdog Media ad placement or technology was placed, the IP Address, browser type, operating system, and a timestamp of these related events.

Personally Identifiable Information

We collect Personally Identifiable Information exclusively on the (https://underdogmedia.com) website, our Marketing web site, and our Publisher Dashboard (https://underdogmedia.com/login/), when clients or prospective clients opt in to enter this information.   

For Publisher Clients, we use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide the services to you as a client of Underdog Media, as applicable, and to respond to your inquiries.  We may also use your Personally Identifiable Information to contact you with Underdog Media product updates, marketing and/or other information that may be of interest to you as a client or prospective client.  Should you decide you no longer wish to receive communications from Underdog Media, you can easily ‘unsubscribe’ from our emails.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Underdog Media is concerned with safeguarding your information.  We employ a variety of measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Data Storage

We retain contact information submitted by users to the Underdog Media marketing website  ( https://underdogmedia.com) and publisher dashboard (https://underdogmedia.com/login/) as long as they are actively registered for our services or marketing. You can request that your data be removed from our records by contacting us at  privacy@underdogmedia.com.

We retain non-personally identifiable user activity data or Log Data collected through our technology for 7 days.

International Transfer of Information

Underdog Media, LLC is based in the state of California, in the United States of America.  The Underdog Media marketing site (https://underdogmedia.com) publisher dashboard (https://underdogmedia.com/login/) and technology (https://udmserve.net) are hosted in the United States and could be located outside of your state, country or governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your justification.  If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to Underdog Media, be advised that your information will be transferred to the United States and processed in the United States and that you consent to that transfer. 

Policy for Children under the age of 13

Underdog Media does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.   If a parent or guardian is made aware or Underdog Media becomes aware that we have received any information from anyone under the age of 13, we remove that information from our records.

Information Sharing

Underdog Media may share Log Data (as described above) with third party advertising platforms and service providers for the purpose but not limited to: the delivery of advertisements, fraud analysis, reporting or traffic analysis.

Underdog Media cooperates with government and law enforcement and may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

The information you submit to us is controlled by the privacy policy that is in effect at the time you submit it.  If we significantly change our policy, we reserve the right to apply this change to any and all data previously collected by the change was made.
