A full-body-motion VR experience that allows the user to move inside a sci-fi test chamber. For real. Every movement done in real life follows the movements of the avatar, in the game, thanks to a set of rigid-body trackers and professional motion-capture cameras.
The project was showcased exclusively for the Wired 2015 event in London, at Tobacco Docks and it's the end result of the collaboration of Visualise and Audiomotion.

Damnfields is inspired by 8-bit retro-games (in both art and music).

I developed Damnfields in one month, for the Oculus Mobile VR Jam and it has been selected as one of the 37 finalists.

Some friends of mine helped me adding original musics and additional art to it:

Libero Mapelli created the official music tracks for the game.
Hernan Zhou created additional pixel art.

I worked as a HTML5 Game Developer and Scrum Master for this title.
Working with my team was a great experience: we worked together as a unit, improving sprint by sprint our techniques with Scrum, and developing the game in less than 3 months.
The result was world wide apreciated by the audience, and the game hit 700k game plays in just a weekend.
