Scott Bader UK are pleased to be working with Terrafend and Tunley Environmental as we reduce our environmental impact in the UK 🇬🇧 Switching from acetone to Ambimization, we have reduced the use of acetone in our UK paste plant by 50%, cutting its VOC usage by 99%. In addition, the cleaning solution can be reused up to 20 times, reducing the plant’s waste by 75% and its overall water consumption 🚰 The total annual Greenhouse Gas Emissions Ambimization system accounted for 6.6 tCO2e, considerably lower than the 108.6 tCO2e found for the former solvent-based system— a 93.9% reduction! With such positive results, we are now continuing discussions to introduce Ambimization to some of our other plants around the Group! Watch the video below to find out more ⬇️

Scott Bader Commonwealth supports the education of girls in India 📚 Working alongside the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha and their ‘Empowerment of Women through Education’ programme the Commonwealth donation, via Scott Bader Middle East, provided scholarships for 20 girls studying in school or higher education units at MKSSS. It also allowed them to provide financial assistance to the students for their educational expenses.
