I recently moved my main Mac system (M2 Mac mini) to my secondary system. On my Mac I was using an Opel desktop camera. I was an early adopter of the camera and Beta user. It mostly worked as advertised but I was never happy with the quality. My main system is now a Geekom A8 Ryzen running Mint. Very happy with the switch so far. I needed a camera for the new system. I'm not a streamer, gamer or content producer but need a good camera for communications, meetings etc. I did some research and settled on the Obsbot Tiny 2. Received the camera which was a journey in itself; the delivery was changed 4 times. There currently isn't any native support for Linux so I had to load the software and firmware changes and do it on the Mac. Immediately I noticed a quality, easy of use improvement and better video over the Opel. Software and firmware upgrades went easy and simple without a reboot (I hated this on the Mac). I moved the camera over to my new main Linux system. I had a couple of early morning meetings and EVERYONE I had videos with remarked, unsolicited how much better the picture quality was. I also like the feature when not in use, the camera faces down rather than the lens cap on the Opel.
So far it just works, which is something everyone should expect. Reading the forums, there are plans to include a Linux application soon. Very pleased with the Obsbot.
