My daughter and myself love exploring in this game! The only downfall is we thought it was a cooperative 2 player game however, we hat is only possible online with two separate systems. Cannot play 2 player cooperative on the same console

I liked every minute, couldn’t put it down. A lot like Breathedge or Subnotica with exploration and puzzles. Great fun! For the price it’s one of a kind. If I had one thing to say is that it was a bit short and I few threw the game quick.

So this game is literally just a first person shooter, there's no customisation of weapons or character, just upgrades you collect along the way (normally involving finding a teleporter and going back in the game, which feels unnecessary). The only real reason you should need to go back to the ship is to watch the videos or complete the game, apart from that it seems like a waste of time keep going back to upgrade.

The upgrade system is pretty much level based and locked behind a "side quest" mission, involving things like slapping certain creatures or taking a sample from them, this also seemed very pointless and seems more of a reason to make you explore the game.

These points seem negative and to me they are negative points against the game but it does not take away the fun I had (even with the side mission crap). The controls are tight and gameplay feels smooth, I have yet to play multiplayer as they have locked it behind playing with someone you know who has the game to play with, you can't play with a random online, you have to invite or be invited.

It's a shame they didn't allow random join ups and get rid of the tedious tasks you're set with but so many games are starting to do it, maybe it will become the norm, no loot boxes though, thank god. It also has a DLC you can buy which adds a whole extra area and more content to the game, it's reasonably priced on the store which is great too.
