This game was a breath of fresh air compared to the same churn and burn format of other first person shooters. It's witty, fun, and the path to upgrades are challenging. Without the need to "Farm" for materials, your character becomes more equipped to tackle the hazardous terrain and battle the creative monsters. Gameplay is similar to No Man's Sky with an Outer worlds vibe where you scan and catalog everything around you, though this isn't a free roam endless Galaxy game like NMS. Your dropped on a planet with the task to find out if the planet is habitible for human occupancy. Your doing this for a corporation conglomerate that is is as wacky and zany as the games graphics and design. The presentation and structure of the game fits within this description with hilarious mission and corporate commercial videos that would fit right in movies like Idiocracy.

The game is light hearted with actions like slapping and booting aliens all over the screen. Docile aliens will leave you alone unless you provoke them, it's that type of game and It has combat but nothing like a true action shooter.

The gameplay loop of scanning the environment and platforming to progress feels more repetitive then other games like this due to the lack of combat mechanics, which involves one gun with a few upgrades...nothing special.

Main story can be completed around 10 hours.

All in all, fun game, but becomes a repetitive journey when hitting double digits in time played, completing all side quests and achievements.

Feels priced right at 30$
