LISTED AS NEW, BUT ACTUALLT USED. DO NOT BUY FROM SELLER.
(TLDR at end)I want to start this by saying sorry for the length of this, I wanted to go into detail a bit in the hopes of helping readers learn some of the ways to check their products (from any seller, not just this one) to make sure they are getting what they ordered.I worked in a video game store for over 5 years, so I have a lot of experience with how headsets are packaged and sold and how their contents are packed. I even received this exact model headset for free from Turtle Beach before, so I know how it comes new in the box. This headset I received today from this seller is not new.First, since this box does not have a flap that has the standard insert to keep it closed it would either be sealed with a transparent sticker or have a plastic wrap to keep it closed. This box arrived with neither, instead coming with 2 white reseal stickers. Those stickers are not standard to factory packaged items and are typically used by third parties or refurbishment centers (see 1st picture).Second, the cables. No matter what item it is, if it's from the manufacturer the cables that come with the item will always be wound either in a neat circular wind or folded like an elongaged oval with a tie wrap. This ensures that it stays neat and presentable when it is initially opened. The cables with this headset were neither, just clearly folded and shoved into the box with the detachable mic (see 3rd picture).Third, this headset has removeable ear pieces so the user can customize it. Those removeable pieces are reflective plastic, and because of the reflectiveness they come with a thin plastic film to protect them from scratches, the kind that you peel off. This headset did not have those and one side actually had faint scratches on the plastic (see 4th picture).(Sidenote, I couldn't get a clear picture of it but it also looked like there was a hair on the inside of one of the earpieces. This could just be a long piece of fabric from the foam padding and be a reasonable explanation so I'm not counting it as a point of evidence, but combined with the other signs of use I see I would be willing to believe it was hair).I actually had to double check the label on the box over the barcode that specified this headset was new, because I thought I had accidently ordered a used version by mistake. I will specify that I don't know if the headset itself works or not, I haven't tried it and I am not going to.Setting aside the fact that I did not order a used headset so I will not be using it, if it is being resold as new I have no guarantee that it's been cleaned or anything. I have seen used consoles trying to be sold to my store with live roaches inside crawling out onto the counter when we would go to test it before buying it (and no, we never accepted anything that even had a suspicion of an infestation). I have seen glue poured into the air vents of a PS4, I have seen tape holding together discs, and so on. I know the weird and disgusting things that people do with their stuff, which is why I always buy new. So despite what this sellers refund policy says, I am returning this and getting my money back. Their policy says that opened items can only be returned if they sre defective, so that raises 2 points for me:1) You say it can only be refunded if defective, and I say I shouldn't have been sent a used item as if it was new.2) I can assume, by your own policy, that this product is not just used but also defective since it was clearly used and sent back to you.TLDR: there were several things that stood out to me from my experience selling these types of products in retail indicating this headset was used but sold as new. I would recommend anyone buying from this seller to check their items carefully when they arrive because if this happened once whose to say it can't happen again? Mistakes happen, they can be acceptable when they happen, but not when companies or sellers try to cover them up to save themselves some cost.

I love these headphones! I first bought these in 2020 and the first pair lasted about a year and a half I would say. My first pair snapped at the ear muff but I believe it’s from pulling the headset apart to put them on so much that I wore it down weakening it. They sound awesome, audio quality is top notch, clear crisp sounds. The mic is really good too! Blocks out noise while isolating my voice. I’m now on my second pair and I gotta say I wasn’t happy… my new head set came with a faulty aux cord, how do I know you may ask? Well I was able to find my old headset(yes I keep my stuff even after breaking) and grabbed its auxiliary cord and my headset worked fine! So I contacted customer service and just waiting for a response. But yeah even my new pair sounded amazing! The padding on the headphones is thick and solid! I forgot what a good headset can feel like as I was using a Lenovo legion I got for free as a replacement and I honestly forgot what these felt like that is until I received them! Man they’re sweet! I would recommend! I’ll get pictures up later!

I have bought this headset twice now. I love the audio quality, mic quality, and comfort.

The reason I had to replace my first one was because one of the left ear-unit breaking off from the headset after a couple years of use. I replaced it and used that new one for another few years until yet again.. it broke in the same spot!!

So I’d recommend it if you plan on upgrading later on and just need a cheap-ish starter headset.

I was looking for a headset better than the typical cheap ones but not quite as expensive as some of the other products available. I've used turtle beach before so I knew the quality of the brand was there. I chose the Turtle Beach Atlas Pro because it was a multi-platform headset that can be used for laptops, PC, Xbox One, and anything with the 3.5 mm audio jack.

If considering purchasing, keep in mind this is not a wireless head set. With the audio jack or the PC connector, you can plug and play into anything. Audio for listening to music or watching television is great. Audio for gaming is pinpoint, can hear all footsteps, and other small audio details that make playing a game that much more immersive.

Great if you want to upgrade from the standard headsets and don't quite want to break the bank yet. The mic is also removable so if you want to watch something or listen to music you can. Noise cancellation works pretty well although is not 100%. Super comfy design, almost feels like you are wearing a cloud.

Overall, am super happy with the purchase and look forward to gaming and listening to music/watching tv with them. Versatility is on point.

as the title says, this mic does not have the feature where you can "hear yourself" while speaking. (not listen to this device in windows with massive delay).

other than that, the mic is super comfortable. the earpads are super nice, and have the built in glasses relief system. the headband's auto adjust system works super well too.

The sound quality and bass response is amazing if you want to truly experience Russian Hard Bass or Hip Hop then this is the headset for you. They are marketed as gaming headphones. How can you game without 7.1? These do not support true surround sound. The simulation simply widens the sound stage. That's useless for competitive gaming.

The mic quality is amazing. All the core features work well and they are very comfortable. I can wear them for hours with no discomfort. Unfortunately they have been relegated to Spotify duty and I'm sticking with my old Logitech G430 for gaming until the after Christmas sales.

I also bought a set for my 80 year old mother who loves them. Fortunately she is not a competitive gamer. ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Crystal clear no matter your sound preference [Great for Glasses Wearers]
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 16, 2020
There are probably a lot of audiophiles out there who would have a lot to say about the music reproduction of these headphone but for one I can't notice and two as a gaming headset you can hear EVERYTHING!

I am going to first briefly mention two potential drawbacks; media playback quality and headset size [skip next 2 paragraphs if this doesn't concern you]. I think most peoples main issue with music playback will be Bass reproduction. If you want headphones that are going to vibrate your soul with your favourite bassy track then look elsewhere now. However, that is where the downsides end... this headset was designed to hear every sound within a game and that translates to music and film. I can hear instruments I have never heard before in songs I have known for years and a little EQ tweak can fix the bass for the majority of people.

The size is to be expected from any over hear headphones, and I don't really expect many people to want to carry them around in their bag however the ear cups will turn 90 degrees to aid with this. At the end of the day I expect the majority of people will store them next to their respective gaming rig.

Design - Understated design. I personally like the black/brush metal finish better in person and would happy wear them as headphone on a train journey.
Unplugable cables and mic are a feature I didn't know I needed but are a great addition for usability. Mic is easily adjusted which seems like it should be a normal feature but there are so many headsets where this isn't the case.
Super comfortable. The ear cups are designed to not crush your ears and if you wear glasses have an extra support feature to reduce pressure on the areas where the arms might sit, so after an hour it doesn't feel like they are trying to fuse the glasses into my skull.

Build - Is solid and not too creaky. Though I have seen some broken for spares I do not feel like they are going to snap on me if normal use.

Sound - The mic is clear enough for my uses with some reasonable noise cancellation. My friends like that they can hear me properly now.
I can hear every pin drop in game now. In a game like Warzone it can be quite overwhelming for the first game or so as you can hear people from such a distance that there is just so much sound information being thrown at you. Easily gives you that upper hand in competitive gaming.

I would definitely recommend this as a gaming headset and if you're okay with a little less bass disconnect the mic and use them as a decent pair of headphones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cascos de calidad y baratos sofisticados

Turtle Beach Pro Atlas ...
Super Teil.
