The many things that my older video cards could NOT do are now a thing of the past. Now I can do Windows 10 video capture. Now I can do video editing that doesn't take 20+ minutes for the export to finish or chug chug during the construction process.

I am a computer game designer guy and the older cards were not handling new coding that my employer had started using (error logging). The loading of big battle files was taking up to 30 seconds with the older card. Not so anymore. This card loads them in 8 seconds or less.

Finally .... no more video logjam!

Deleted the old card and old driver. D/L the current (studio) driver. Swapped out the old card for this one. Booted. Gave it time and Windows started d/l-ing like crazy. Left it alone. D/L stopped and after some minor screen activity, a proper screen appeared! Checked and all the original settings held. Windows had gone out to get a driver for the card, which so far, has performed flawlessly. At some time in the future, I'll force an update and point to the stored driver. Then I'll do a Web update to bring the card current. (Gaming is of no interest to me.) So far, so good. [Have a 2nd monitor driven by a 1030. No problems.]

When opening the box you get a manual but it’s for all ASUS’s GPU’s not the specific one so it’s not the clearest on how to set up but YouTube helps a lot. Just letting everyone know that you don’t need to 6 pin connector as it plugs into the motherboard somehow. As soon as I assembled it it worked instantly and I could launch my games instantly with ease . Would recommend.
