    Still getting to know this but my final impression is good. It is a lot faster than the gen 4 and it runs a lot warmer than the gen 4 drives. you're going to wat lots of air flow in your case for this mama Jama. Have not done a speed check on this drive... I will later on down the road but for now I believe it was worth it. Noted you will need a gen 5 slot on your motherboard, and I do not know if the drive is backward compatible? Overall, Its not to bad.

    If you are looking for the best SSD, get the 2tb option. I was surprised to find out that there is a performance difference between the two storage options. If you can’t afford to buy the 2tb option i strongly recommend considering a 4th gen SSD instead.

    Even though I had many people tell me this would be a waste of money they were completely wrong. I work with a lot of video files and I constantly move them from mechanical(3.5inch) hard drives to my main drive, back and forth. Before I installed this as my main drive I would see transfer speeds going up and down all the time and very slow. But now with drive I get solid consistent transfer speeds with no drops. I also replaced my motherboard so I have a Gen 5 MVME slot which is necessary to achieve the advertised speeds.
