This controller is beautiful in its design. I love how clicky it is. Bringing the Xbox Original Duke controller to life in a next-gen era was such an awesome decision by Hyperkin. I love this for my Xbox consoles and my gaming PC. I will soon own multiples of this controller in different colors out of fear that they may not continue producing this product for as long as I would like. And I would love to have the ability to pull one off the shelf down the road and still use it with future Electronics. If you have large hands almost every single controller ever created is too small. With this controller my Knuckles never hurt. And the weight of the design is great because it will not hurt your wrists if you do like to actually hold your controller versus leaving your hands on a desk or your lap. Also, the controller is just as responsive as the Razer Wolverine tournament Edition. Which the price tag of that sucks in comparison to the 20th anniversary edition of the Duke.Since Hyperkin did so well with this controller. I am now seeking out other controllers they have decided to make. Keep up the good work guys! Well done! Now I need to go stock up on these like there's an apocalypse coming in which I'll need the world's best controllers. I also highly recommend 3D printing the stand for the Duke on thingiverse.com

Elephant in the room, this controller massive but it works for me, I have long fingers so it fits in my hands pretty well. To go along with that, it’s solid with a little more weight to it, so it can handle falls no problem.

Also the Big X button is my favorite part, I didn’t actually expect it to actually display the original Xbox start up, I literally don’t think I could ever play with another controller again.

Added bonus, there are two extra buttons above ABYX that act as LB, RB. Works well when a scenario calls for it, or while playing claw.

It really does bring me back to simpler times, the nostalgia is incredible.

Man, I forgot just how this felt when I had the original xbox. Using it in conjunction with my regular Xbox Series X controller on PC now. I usually switch between them depending on the game.
It's a nice display piece. Love the xbox boot-up animation every time you press the middle button. Bumpers should be a tad bigger though. However I do understand its to keep the original form of the Duke.
solid 8/10 from me. I do have to agree from another reviewer that the plastic does feel cheap.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas super cool super nostalgia. The tiny screen is amazing. Love that you can see the vibration motors spin when you boot it up. BUT, it's Jan 6th, dropped it once and the micro USB port AND cord are both completely broken. Controller has no battery pack or access so it's completely unable to power on. Super easily broken. I've had other controllers that are still going dispite multiple similar drops and other wear and tear. Super nostalgic but sadly did not hold up even one month. Was not a violent drop. Just from desk to floor. Lesson to learn is, don't let you little sister borrow your stuff 🤷🏽‍♀️

Owned the original Xbox, and I must admit, I got very nostalgic playing with this controller. This is the Duke alright... in all of it's big chonkers glory. It takes a bit to get used to where your hand rests on it but otherwise it's a very comfortable controller to use. Only thing that was difficult was using the added Xbox One buttons in the center, it's a bit of a stretch for my hands and I have pretty long fingers. I was also VERY happy to know that this works perfectly with the Xbox Series X. I had no problems using the controller on the console and on PC with Xbox's cloud gaming service. Overall, no complaints, and now I get to play games with my chunky controller again!

Whenever I use this controller it thinks the right trigger is constantly in use. My character is always aiming down sights and cars always want to stop but it’s glitchy hard to explain. I did get warranty with the controller so not to big a deal.

Hyperkin has done a fantastic job at recreating the original Duke controller. This controller gets a lot of Internet hate, but if you have bigger hands like me--this is actually one of the more memorable controllers out there.

I picked this up on sale for $68, which is a more reasonable price for a wired controller.

Pros:
- Built exactly like the Duke.
- Good quality build. The controller is sturdy and has a nice feel to it. The buttons are responsive and the analog sticks work well. It does have additional LB+RB buttons on the top of the controller, something the original Duke didn't have. They are on the smaller side, but I won't list it as a con considering this is just a minor extra feature that Hyperkin added to the controller.

Cons:
- The obvious one, this controller is unfortunately only a wired controller. The cable that comes with it is a respectable length at about 9ft. But it won't for a lot of people and it doesn't for me. When I do use this controller, I have to sit closer to my television on a chair or on the ground. Do keep this in mind as a factor when deciding to purchase!

Overall:
- If you're a fan of the original Duke and don't mind/care that this controller is wired only...I would recommend it but only at a discounted price.
