The Civilian is a scrapped class in Team Fortress 2. He is the unfinished equivalent of the Civilian class from Team Fortress and Team Fortress Classic.

Civilian class

By default, the Civilian class shares the Scout class model, though this can be changed to other class models. He possesses very low health – the lowest of any class – and the same as the Civilian from the Team Fortress Classic series of game. He does not have any weapons and cannot attack, lacks both voice commands and taunts, and uses generic speech files when he is wounded or killed. Civilians do not possess animations except for the ragdoll or gibbing effect upon dying, and therefore appear to glide along the ground in a reference pose when moving. The Civilian was originally able to be selected by typing

• join_class civilian

into the console upon joining a game.

The existence of the Civilian class seems to indicate a planned updated version of the VIP Escort game mode from the Team Fortress Classic series of games. Alternatively, the class may have been included in the game files so that independent map makers and modders could add this feature. Additionally, a sound file exists in the VPK in which the Administrator commands the team to "Stop the courier!", suggesting an official Hunted game mode was in the works at some point.

The reference pose

The reference pose is often referred to as "the Civilian". It places the player in a "reference pose" without animations or the use of weapons. It does not change the player's actual class, so health and movement speed is unaffected, along with all special abilities of the class (such as the Scout's double jump).

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Scout:

1. Take milk.
   
2. Pick up the milk.
   
3. Die.
   
4. Take milk in hands.
   
5. Hold down the left mouse button.
   
6. Find old milk.
   
7. Take quickly old milk.

If you don't have hands, you are a T-pose. If you take another weapon or going u base and take new arsenal, you will no longer be a T-pose. Alas, you will never fly again - It is fixed.

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Soldier:

1. Get rage with any trumpet.
   
2. After that press "M" for the class inventory
   
3. Then switch the trumpet to mantreads on the inventory menu.
   
4. After that activate the rage.
   
5. Go to the resupply cabinet and resupply.

If you don't have hands, you are a T-pose. If you take another weapon or going u base and take new arsenal, you will no longer be a T-pose. Alas, you will never fly again - It is fixed.

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Pyro:

1. Pick up a Flamethrower. (I recommend Backburner)
   
2. Die.
   
3. Run out of ammo
   
4. When you have ammo at zero, hold and quickly replace your Flamethrower with the old Flamethrower.

Well, I hope you succeeded in becoming a T-pose Pryo and now you can run and try not to die from People or do what you want

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Demoman:

1. Needed: B.A.S.E. Jumper, any shield, any stickylauncher.
   
2. equip a B.A.S.E. Jumper in the 1st slot and Any stickylauncher in the 2nd.
   
3. Exit spawn.
   
4. Change stickylaucner to any shield in the inventory.
   
5. Shoot some stickis to start the reload animation.
   
6. During reload animation hit Resupply locker inside your spawn.

BOOM! I hope you have successfully become a t-pose Demo and were able to make this easiest way to become a t-pose which is the most difficult to explain.

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Heavy:

1. Pick up a minigun. ( I recommend Huo-Long Heater )
   
2. Die.
   
3. Take again the minigun in hand.
   
4. Hold down the left mouse button until the ammo runs out.
   
5. When you have ammo to zero, hold and quickly replace your minigun with the old minigun.

Great! Now you're an ugly T-heavy. If you see a hand, you are a A-Pose (T-pose). The most important thing is to react quickly. When you see that the cartridges ran out hold the left mouse button and quickly change. You should be able to do it. Also, if you take a weapon, you will no longer A-Pose (T-pose).

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Engineer:

1. Find your teammate's dispenser.
   
2. Then go near to it after that kill yourself.
   
3. Change the weapon you dropped.
   
4. Then if you respawned with your new weapon quickly go inside the dispenser.
   
5. Pick up the old weapon which you dropped on the ground.

If you see a hand, you are a T-pose. The most important thing is to react quickly. When you see that the cartridges ran out hold the left mouse button and quickly change. You should be able to do it. Also, if you take a weapon, you will no longer T-pose.

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Medic:

1. Find your teammate's dispenser.
   
2. Then go near to it after that kill yourself.
   
3. Change the weapon you dropped.
   
4. Then if you respawned with your new weapon quickly go inside the dispenser.
   
5. Pick up the old weapon which you dropped on the ground.

If you see a hand, you are a A-Pose (T-pose). The most important thing is to react quickly. When you see that the cartridges ran out hold the left mouse button and quickly change. You should be able to do it. Also, if you take a weapon, you will no longer T-pose.

To be the A-Pose (T-pose) as Sniper:

1. Take the jarate.
   
2. Take in hands jarate.
   
3. Die.
   
4. Take a jarate in hand.
   
5. Hold down the left mouse button.
   
6. Find the old jarate.
   
7. Take a quick old jarate.

All. If you did everything right, you should not see the hands and weapons in General. This is the same as with the Scout and also if you take a weapon or take it from the box, then you will no longer be a A-Pose (T-pose).

To be A-Pose (T-pose) as Spy:

1. Find your teammate's dispenser.
   
2. Then go near to it after that kill yourself.
   
3. Change the weapon you dropped.
   
4. Then if you respawned with your new weapon quickly go inside the dispenser.
   
5. Pick up the old weapon which you dropped on the ground.

If you see a hand, you are a A-Pose (T-pose). The most important thing is to react quickly. When you see that the cartridges ran out hold the left mouse button and quickly change. You should be able to do it. Also, if you take a weapon, you will no longer A-Pose (T-pose).
