Try deleting the web cache not cookies and steam downloads cache maybe its getting full.

i dont actually want to do that...
because i have had months of no problems watching
broadcast without clearing cookies and cache.. and i
dont really install a lot of different games all the time..

and.... and... it seems to do a partial correction when
i restart steam...

and.. and... no problems watching from my browser....
browser is almost instant... like it used to be on steam....

i did the clear download cache..
lets see what does or doesnt happen

the other thing it does when not working is
it gives you the chat dialog with chat in it..
but when you click on the users it says 0
when there is hundreds or even thousands
watching as welll...

that didnt take long... loading loading loading and nothinig... again..

browser is still instant... what is wrong with this steam client..

if i log out and jump back it will work for a few broadcasts til
i go to discussion forum or here and then it goes back to not working.... terrible..

skip that....
resetting is not fixing anything today......

no accountability... why does it work in a web browser....

if someone did something just now... thank you...

doesnt make sense...

there is nothing i am doing or not doing when it is working..

sometimes when i log out and back in it works... then it stops...

What is the broadcast you are trying to watch ?
Well same here using the common broadcast menu on top of steam

What is the broadcast you are trying to watch ?

Hi.... lots of them.... i try the first one as it has around 5000 viewers..

when its working some of the different broadcasters might be a bit slow
to start but a lot are quick usually....

its just hanging on them all at the moment...

its close to instant on my web browser

it really needs to be investigated... when its working its great...
so its like i am hitting a bad server or something.... but like i say...
in a web browser... its click and watch everything within seconds...

Same here, work perfectly in browser but not using the steam client
does not work with older or newer steam release...
There is something strange ; all the broadcasters are offline, i guess it's why it does not work under the steam client may be
try to watch one of your friends playing and see if it works
omwb to older steam ..

So you are lucky, all the broadcasters are still offline of me , so i guess it's the reason why it does not work under the client.
