GIVE SOME LOVE TO USER PROFILE CUSTOMIZATION. YOU JUST FORCE UPDATES TO THE STORE. OF COURSE BECAUSE THERE IS THE MONEY. BUT USERS ARE BEGGING FOR YEARS TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO REMOVE/HIDE STUFF FROM PROFILES!

I don't think this short video loop of nothingness without sound is a good alternative to anything, really. It's just sh*t, doesn't tell much. And are you ashamed of your own rating system? To put so much effort into one of Steam's rare working things and obfuscate it like this doesn't seem like a bright idea to me. I was kinda excited when I just saw this novelty, but it's a waste of everyone's time, in the end. Not thoughtful, not useful, not simple or elegant - just primitive. Bad design all around.

P.S. You know what we could all use instead of this Steam Sale Event level of mockery in terms of considerateness? Faster store pages, is all.

I love discovery queue, always finding new interesting games, need to try the new updatet look!
An ok feature, but I like going through the store pages better for DQ (plus with web add-on).

You only get 1 per account a day so no point to do it faster, but you can use the web addon that skips through them in like 2 seconds.

Again with the autoplay trailers, I hated it in the previous experiments, and now testing the discovery queue, because I've allowed adult content incase some game actually is worthwhile despite s*xual themes, now the discovery queue just instantly plays in a large window in the center those cheap explicit p*rn games that in the original discovery queue were easy to skip because you instantly got the gist just by seeing the screenshots and text and tags.
Just add your mobile friendly arrows to the side of regular storepages if you have to cater to the Deck, but please, no more front and center instantly autoplaying trailers, I don't want that even with okay games, trailers are almost always like the last thing I check, I skim the text and screenshots always first.

While it's a bit smoother and faster (largely due to main store pages just always being slow for some reason), I don't think it's BETTER. The quick-cut short GIFs that autoplay are hit or miss at best and no way to see others without clicking through. Review score aggregate on Steam is USUALLY pretty reliable but not having the "most helpful" reviews included if you scroll down hurts the chances of any "mostly positive" titles I feel like. There's honestly just not much information AT ALL on these little cards - if you see something that MIGHT appeal to you, you have to click through, so it's arguably more work.

I kind of agree with the sentiment that old discovery queue would be better than this if the pages just loaded faster like a normal webpage. I can stream multiple 4K videos or load up a page with hundreds of embedded images in a second, but for some reason Steam store pages take anywhere from 2-8 seconds to get to a lot of the time.

The only thing this "new" queue adds is speed and that's only if you see nothing of interest. Otherwise, it's worse right now.

And another thing, how is this currently a more streamlined solution? when you have to click an extra box to then actually visit the storepage?
Currently that just throws you out from the discovery queue, that's just extra steps, when in the normal DQ you just are right there, in the storepage, and go from storepage to storepage.
How's that not more streamlined?
I hate extra steps, it means there will be less of a chance that I'll actually visit a storepage, and that means less of a chance to wishlist or buy, because a single trailer and a couple of tags isn't enough to persuade me.

Yea currently it's only streamlined if you don't actually see anything interesting. It feels like it's designed for people who don't actually use the queue to find new games to play.

Please,
- Use Labs on your own library / improve browsing your own games
- steam shop is good promoting games it should be as good with your existing library to help you decide what to play next
- AND/XNOR/NOT filter logic in library e.g. Racing AND Simulation NOT Motorbikes NOT Planes
- filter library by games friends own: games none of your friends own are filtered away, for each of the rest you can hover to see a list which of your friends own this; usr case: combine with online coop filter to see which of your games you could play with your friends, possibly filter by games a specific friend owns
- Import/Export/Share games collections/shelves. Example: like the gamepad mappings in Big Picture find other peoples shared collections, e.g. to quickly fetch someones collection of souls-like games or I create a collection with all games supported by GeForce Now in it and share it, people can subscribe to it and I can keep updating it. You can browse the collections in the Steam hub as a list of store applets and when subscribed you'll have the new collection in your library with only all the games you own, perhaps those you dont but greyed out.
- Download Manager: update all button, allow to start a game ignoring an available update
- Search store for dlc of games you own
- A category in the store to find publisher pages easier
- Create a section in the Communityhub for each game to host public Remote Play Together sessions (like Parsec arcade), similar to Broadcasts
- user created widgets for the steam overlay (> YouTube/Spotify Widget etc)
- Take screenshot by controller button
- Seamless integration with GeForce Now, easy login process
- Richtext editor
- Advanced Search with options to search only specific categories, include description in the search instead of only the game name (i.e. searching for Escher would display The Bridge as a result)
- Mobile App: fix community forums display
- Shopping lists seperate to the wishlist
- Music Streaming of owned OSTs and music tracks and improve the media player
