If it affects brightness, then it's probably pre-multiplied alpha.

You generally can't make textures that were opaque originally transparent just by adding an alpha channel -- the game has to draw transparent things in reverse order based on their distance from the camera and after all opaque things. That draw order is expensive, so only done for objects that were transparent in the first place.

Don't use that for an Xbox controller. Xbox controllers are native XInput. In DirectInput mode, they can't distinguish input on Left/Right triggers.

Unfortunately, SK can still do better than the game can with HDR and framerate limiter. Some people won't even notice that stuff, so the "fix" isn't really a "fix" anymore :)
