Despite being 'Steam Deck Verified', I'm finding it impossible to player 2 or 3 player games. 4 works fine (Two Xbox controllers, a PS5 Dual Sense controller and an external Steam Controller).
But when, for example, I want to just use two Xbox controllers for a 2 player game, the player count always reads 3 at the top, and then 4 players characters appear, with us being unable to control the 3rd or 4th players.
