Well I guess the max limit for this game is 6. You can play with 6 people with controllers any time. And only one keyboard player can be assigned as keyboard is considered global. if any of the connected user plays with keyboard it will disrupt the keyboard player.

As play limit 6 ppl may be. But keyboard player can be only you. If anyone try play as keyboard he just ignored and assign as another gamepad.
