Savegame tool
Savegame tool I made for converting savegames from 360/PS3 to PC: http://www.fluffyquack.com/tools/DDsavetool.rar

You can also unpack and repack saves to/from XML with it. Read the readme.txt for usage information. When converting savegame from console to PC, you'll also need a PC savegame (it reads your steam id from the PC savegame and adds it to the converted savegame). Getting your savegame file from console might be a small hassle, but I'm sure anyone who really wants to convert their savegame are familiar with copying save files from xbox or ps3.

There's a limitation that you have to be using a console Dark Arisen savegame when converting; it can't be an original Dragon's Dogma save.

If you converted a savegame with v1.0 of this tool from xbox to PC and you're experiencing problems going online in the game. Use this command "DDAsavetool -reset DDDA.sav" to reset online pawn data which will fix this issue. Any saves converted from v1.1 and forward should not have this problem.

Example of converted save:
Xbox: http://abload.de/img/2016-01-15_18-00-51ffs1v.jpg
PC: http://abload.de/img/ddda2016-01-1517-56-49vs4x.jpg

You can find your PC savegame at \\Steam\userdata\[steamuserid]\367500\remote\DDDA.sav

The tool requires VS2008 C++ runtime libraries to be installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

It's a command line tool. Run it via command prompt.

So you could continue using a character you may have invested dozens of hours in already?

Whoops, I forgot to mention that. I added info where to find it in the first post for people who can't find it.

I didn't even know my tool would be able to do that. The functionality was specifically created to convert from console to pc.

how long does the conversion take?
because I'm seeing 3 instances of ddsavetool.exe with 0% cpu activity.
