I do recommend this game ultimately but there is a problem or two that really needs to be sorted with the game.

The positives first. It looks and feels like a game of Machi Koro. The graphics work well for the game and the controls are intuitive. I really enjoy playing the game and look forward to playing the game with my daughter online. Overall it is a very very good implementation of Machi Koro.

Now the negative. Whilst I do accept that a tutorial is a good thing for new players, and I like that the tutorial only happens the once for each game, they should be an option, not a requirement. If a person just wanted to load up the game for the first time and get straight into their first game because they own the physical version, they should be allowed to or if they want, choose to go through the tutorial.

The other negative is regarding all the bells and whistles whilst playing, such as the commentator and the game pausing to show you who is ahead several times during the game. These again should be skippable and there should be an option to turn these off in settings so you don;t get them at all if you don;t want them.

Overall it is a good game, but some of the decisions made by developers should be made optional or at least give us a button to skip past them so as to know break up the flow of the game.
