Known Issues
These are the currently known issues and their workarounds.

  • No sound on Steam Deck OLED. For now, you can go into the game properties -> compatibility, and force proton to get sound back.
  • Crash when holding an item and its original location is ruined.
  • Crash playing with 8Bitdo Ultimate Controller.
  • Nothing happens when starting the game, but computer resources are used. We're trying to deal with this one, so please report if it happens. For now, you can run the game without the launcher, either through the Steam Play option or by running Horticular.exe manually from the game folder.
  • Moving the game to a second monitor using Shift + Win + Arrows when playing on borderless/fullscreen disables mouse interaction. Workaround: Start the game in windowed mode, move it to the second monitor, and switch to fullscreen.
  • Gamepad stops working if it gets disconnected while playing, even if reconnecting it. Workaround: Restart the game until this is fixed.
