We are excited to say that AUDICA is now officially available on the Oculus Quest!

Alongside today’s Oculus Quest launch, we’ve also released a new content update and DLC across all platforms. Keep reading for more information on what you can expect to see next time you fire up AUDICA!

Alongside the Oculus Quest launch, a new update for AUDICA is now available! Inside this update, you’ll find new features, fixes, and tweaks.

We want to thank our awesome community for helping us with their suggestions and feedback along the way. Let’s dive into what’s new in this update:

• You can now enable modifiers from the Campaign during Solo Play and Group Play. Try out invisible guns, a gradually ramping tempo, and more!
  
  • You will still be able to post scores to the leaderboards with modifiers enabled.
• There are now options to sort the Song List in Solo Play and Group Play.
  
• A new Customization button in Solo Play and Group Play that lets you change the arena, blasters, and drumkit loadout before playing a song. No longer will you have to back all the way out to settings to customize your AUDICA experience!
  
• New "With Extras" leaderboard totals scores for all songs, including DLC and Extra tracks. This new leaderboard exists in addition to the standard global leaderboards.
  
• Take off your sunglasses. Changing Arenas now fades to black instead of white on all platforms except for PlayStation®4, where it would already fade to black.
  
• AUDICA is now available on the Oculus Quest platform! 🎉
  
• Bug fixes:
  
  • Fixed an issue in Practice Mode where the "Play" button could disappear under certain circumstances.
    
  • Fixed an authoring bug in "Titanium (Cazzette’s AntSeeking Hamster Remix)" by David Guetta ft. Sia on Advanced difficulty.
    
  • Fixed the default filename for Community Maps to not be the same as an existing file.
    
  • Tweaked the tutorial flow to bring user back to main menu after finishing it.
    
  • AUDICA now properly pauses when suspending to Oculus Home/PlayStation®4 shell/etc.
    
  • Tweaked some achievement descriptions to add clarity on how to unlock.
    
  • Fixed an incorrect achievement icon.
    
  • Various minor bug fixes.
    
  • Tweaks to the audio mix.
    
  • Minor graphical improvements.

Hey everyone,

Thank you for all of the love and support since AUDICA’s official launch on Tuesday! Today we’re releasing a small update to address some of the issues the community has been experiencing.

Here’s the list of all fixes in v1.0.1:

• Early Access leaderboard flair is now showing up for everyone who played AUDICA before launch.
  
• Fixed an issue where “Bodhisattva” and “Lazer Priest” achievements were unachievable.
  
• The requirement to unlock these achievements is to Gold Star or 5-Star all songs, respectively. For those of you who have already met those requirements but did not get the achievement, you will receive it after Gold Starring / 5-Starring any song after installing this update.
  
• Fixed an issue where certain visuals were missing from the LIV mixed reality camera view.
  
• Fixed an issue that could occur when replaying the finale sequence which prevented returning to the main menu.
  
• Fixed issue where some achievement icons were mismatched.

Go forth and chase those high scores. We’ll see you on the leaderboards!

AUDICA has officially launched! Over the past few weeks we’ve been working hard on new features, environments, and playable songs for you to experience in the full release of the game. Additionally, DLC is now available to be purchased to expand your AUDICA library even more!

There’s a lot to check out in v1.0 of AUDICA, so let’s jump in:

• Campaign Mode – AUDICA’s campaign mode has you playing through the entire core soundtrack across multiple difficulty tiers. Each tier features a handful of unique challenges for you to complete in order to successfully pass. The campaign mode leads up to a very special grand finale. We’ll leave it to you to complete the campaign and experience it for yourself!
  
• New Environments and Blasters – AUDICA now features even more environments and blasters for your experience and equip. You can unlock them by playing through and completing tiers in the brand-new campaign mode!
  
• 6 New Playable Songs – The release of AUDICA brings 6 new playable songs to the core soundtrack. This brings the total amount of playable tracks included with AUDICA to 33! The six new tracks available for you to play are:

Two weeks ago we talked about all the things you have to look forward to with the launch of AUDICA 1.0, including a full campaign, more customization options and the full 33-song soundtrack to name just a few. Today, we wanted to give you an idea of what you can expect to see coming to the game in the weeks and months ahead – more great and challenging tracks for you to add to your AUDICA music library.

Starting on launch day, we will have five additional playable songs available for you to add to your song library and our plan is to release a total of 15 DLC tracks by the end of the year. These releases include chart-topping songs from some very well-known artists. The first five playable tracks you can expect to play starting tomorrow are:

• 5 Seconds of Summer – “Youngblood”
  
• Ariana Grande – “Into You”
  
• Billie Eilish – “bad guy”
  
• Imagine Dragons – “Believer”
  
• Post Malone – “Better Now”

Each track will be available for purchase as a single, in a bundle, or as part of our 2019 Season Pass. Like the bundles available for our other games, you can expect a discount when purchasing a bundle or the Season Pass.

It seems like it was just yesterday when we released AUDICA into Early Access. Now we're approaching the official release of AUDICA and can’t wait to get the full game into your hands.

You, the AUDICA Early Access community, have been hugely instrumental in making this game special. You’ve performed feats that we never imagined, posted scores we never thought possible, and provided feedback that helped us shape and improve AUDICA over the course of Early Access. So it only felt right that we give you a sneak peek at what’s to come in this release. There’s a lot to look forward to, so let’s dive in!

Over the past couple of months, you may have heard us reference a campaign mode across various live streams, Discord messages, and even in the backlog on our Trello board. With the 1.0 release we will be adding this long-awaited feature!

AUDICA’s campaign mode will have you playing through the entire soundtrack across four tiers. Each tier will also feature a handful of unique challenges for you to complete. For instance, a challenge in one song may make you play with invisible guns, while another challenge may reduce your time to react by increasing the speed in which targets fly in. Combined with an increasingly difficult setlist, the campaign will truly put your beat blasting skills to the test.

Completing tiers will not only unlock the next but also reward you with new blasters to use and environments to step into. All of this leads up to a very special grand finale that we don’t want to spoil here – you’ll have to beat the campaign and experience it yourself!

On March 7th we launched AUDICA into Early Access with 10 tracks. Since then we have grown to a whopping 27 song core soundtrack, and we’re not even done yet. Come the release of AUDICA, we’ll be adding six new tracks bringing the total amount of playable songs upon release to 33!

In addition to these 33 tracks, four songs will receive playable, full-length Album Versions. These songs can be unlocked by playing through AUDICA’s campaign mode and will surely test your endurance and beat blasting skills.

The 1.0 release does not mark the end of AUDICA. While we’re not ready to talk about it just yet, you can expect to see additional content and updates for the game in the weeks and months to come following launch.
