When you start to watch some of this, what, what are some memories or feelings that kind of come back?

Well, the first thing I take notice of is the, the High socks.

Um, not a fan of those.

I can tell that just kind of spraying the ball around the zone.

Um, not really trying to throw any particular spot, just trying to throw it in the imaginary box, right?

Like if you look at the catcher, he's not exactly setting up, it's just middle on the edges, you're just throwing it right down.

Oh my God, you almost got do.

So when you see a video like this, are you, is it funny?

Like, do you feel proud about where you're at now?

What are like the emotions that come up when you look back at something?

I do think it's funny.

Um, this is only the highlights of this video.

I know there's a lot of balls that are bouncing like 55 ft. Um, like I'm watching, like you're saying, everybody out, you're saying this is good at it.

This is a good, it really good at it.

Yeah.

Ok. Um But yeah, it, it's, it's cool to go back and watch where from where I came from because what's, what's, oh, it's clear and I mean, we know this now we, we can assist you.

That's not a first rounder.

Right?

And we knew that.

Right.

I mean, at this point, sure, you're out of showcase and you're, you're competing and, and this is perfectly good stuff for a, for a high school pitcher.

But that's, that's not someone the teams are like, really excited about in the way that they are about you now.

So what do you think is the number one thing that has changed that has now allowed you to get to this point where teams are wanting to talk to you all day here at the LB draft combine.

I think it's the development of two of some of the be or two of the best pitchers in, in college baseball right now, my, my cutter and my splitter, um, along with gaining weight in the weight room and putting on some pounds in that squat bar, um being able to throw a little bit harder.

Um, along with the mentality I have up there on the mound just knowing that I'm better than the hitter in the box and he's not getting past me.
