🗣 Lamine Yamal trolls Adrien Rabiot after semi-final win

Lamine Yamal has proved actions speak louder than words as he helped Spain to a spot in the EURO 2024 final.

The teenager, who had not found the net at the tournament before tonight, was the subject of some cutting comments from France midfielder Adrien Rabiot ahead of the game.

“If Lamine wants to play in the final he will have to do more things than he has done so far”, the former Juventus midfielder told the media, which prompted Yamal to fire back with a cryptic Instagram message.

“Move in silence, only speak when it's time to say checkmate", he told his followers before curling home a sensational effort to help his side into the final.

And after the game, he couldn't resist a quick dig at the Frenchman, turning to the cameras and challenging Rabiot to "speak now".

Still not even 17-years-old, is Yamal primed for an all-time great football career? Rabiot will be hoping not.
