Today, our CEO Ross Adams and CFO Emily Villatte shared our financial figures for Q2 of 2024 with the world, and we continue the year strong, steady and stable. 💪 We remain firmly on track to hit EBITDA profitability in 2024, thanks to a 24% increase in our global revenue, high gross margin and continued focus on cost control. We are so proud of our position in podcasting, for championing what is proven to be one of the most effective media channels, and for keeping the world connected through podcast storytelling. 🌍 Thank you of course to our creators and advertisers for your continued support and belief in us. Unveiling our latest report, conducted in collaboration with media agency OMD Sweden a comprehensive new study that reveals podcast advertising surpasses other media in brand building and is highly effective in generating long-term sales. According to the findings, podcast advertising delivers a return on ad spend (ROAS) of 4.9 times, making it one of the most profitable media channels. The study was conducted in Sweden and is applicable worldwide thanks to its reach. 💥 Key findings - Podcast advertising gives: Highest short-term ROAS: 4.2x (vs. 2.7x avg. across other media) Top long-term ROAS: 4.9x (vs. 3.7x avg.) 35% more cost-effective in driving brand awareness (compared to average media) Up to 18% boost to TV/online video mix effectiveness Podcast advertising isn't just about brand building – it's a powerhouse for driving both short-term and long-term sales.
