High quality voice and video calls
Make secure video and voice calls with up to 8 people for free*. Your calls work across mobile devices using your phone’s Internet service, even on slow connections.
Group chats to keep you in contact
Stay in touch with your friends and family. End-to-end encrypted group chats let you share messages, photos, videos and documents across mobile and desktop.
Stay connected in real time

The app has been great so far, best messaging app by a distance. The recent changes are great. It can be improved upon though. With people belonging to so many groups these days, *groups chats need to be separated from individuals*. There should be option to change the default display menu colours and outlook. In short more customization option should be integrated.

When responding to messages through Android Auto, it does not acknowledge that I've read and/or responded to a message on the phone/app. My audio will slightly mute every one - two minutes to indicate I still have a message. I have to open the phone while I'm driving to acknowledge the message on my phone. Please fix that. It's been happening for almost a year.

I've tried many messaging apps and WhatsApp is by far the best. The only issues are: 1) We still get notifications from muted community grow. 2) Info and copy options are in a menu instead of a shortcut button at the top (along with reply etc), even though there's still space for it. Makes it inconvenient considering how often those features are used. 3) It would be better if the read/played time was a timestamp, instead of how long ago, so we don't have to the math😅

What's new
• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started. • Group chats show the profile photos of their participants. These features will roll out over the coming weeks. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
