Important! You need to supply your own copy of the 'Doom' wad files to play original Doom.

With the right keybinds you can play hideous destructor. Or Iron assault, or thousands of other mods that puts the majority of the play store to shame. The only caveat is setting up the controls to be comfy or alternately using a bluetooth controller or keyboard and mouse. Most mods can use freedoom meaning you wont have to buy additional games either, but more likely that not you already have the doom wads laying around anyway. The front end is pretty solid too.

This is amazing. I was able to bring over all my GZDoom mods and they work nearly as well on my phone as they do on my PC. Building a HD DOOM experience, and it's really cool to take it with me. I use an 8bitdo controller, and with my Fold 4 open, this is really the mobile Doom experience I've always wanted. Everything is remappable, options are numerous, and I've even brought over Hexen and Heretic, since I've never actually finished those games.

HELP: I'm having an issue when using Doom Retro — whenever I use the map/fire/use button, it brings up the console, and I can't access the pause menu. Not sure what triggered that. Besides that, Delta Touch is amazing, and it's great to finally have such far-reaching mod support that makes Doom so great. The screen controls are as good as they can be on a screen (I got through TNT/Plutonia with them, so they're tight enough). Multiplayer support/source port additions are fantastic.

Thanks for the review. For Doom retro can you press the 'DELETE CFG' button to clear the config, seems something strange has happened to it!
