Updated 04/13/2023 09:37 AM

NVIDIA GeForce is our brand for gamers and creators.

The GeForce brand includes the following products:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX

  • NVIDIA GeForce MX

  • NVIDIA GeForce GT

NVIDIA RTX is our brand for professional and visual computing, superseding NVIDIA Quadro. You can see a list of our latest GPUs for design and visualization, which includes NVIDIA RTX products along with other products for these use cases. All NVIDIA enterprise products are now branded “NVIDIA”, examples are NVIDIA H100, NVIDIA L4, NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation.

In terms of how this affects product naming, NVIDIA GeForce GTX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs are separate product series from NVIDIA RTX GPUs.

Both series of products include “RTX” as they are built on the RTX platform, which has a number of features for different audiences including both gaming and creating and professional visual computing.

In addition, some of our GeForce and NVIDIA RTX products are also part of the NVIDIA Studio brand, which are recommended for creative workflows such as video editing and motion graphics.

Lastly, NVIDIA Quadro was previously our brand for professional visual computing. It has been superseded by the NVIDIA RTX brand.
