Miyakojima City is Takahito’s home island in southern Japan 🇯🇵 — and it’s where he’s also making an impact with his work in the #IBMSustainabilityAccelerator clean energy project. 🌞🌿 He’s the project squad leader of the team who is developing an energy forecasting model using Cloud and #AI solutions. And this is just one of the many meaningful projects Takahito works on as a software engineer in Global Sales. Like the clean energy initiative, he uses AI and Cloud technologies to solve clients' problems, many related to global energy issues. He partners with teams by using various tools from IBM Technology, Consulting, Systems Engineering, and Digital Services to develop energy forecasting models that aim to enhance the self-sufficiency of a community’s clean and renewable energy. ☀ It’s meaningful work beyond the sustainability initiative because he uses his skills to benefit his own community. He says he’s always evolving his knowledge thanks to the support of his colleagues, IBM's extensive methodologies, and embracing a mindset of ‘always learning’ and take leadership in every task he performs. 💡 His journey at IBM is a testament to the incredible opportunities here, where IBMers are learning new technologies and applying them for social impact.
