Beta Energy Restenosis Trial. A trial assessing the safety and efficacy of balloon angioplasty followed by beta radiation treatment (90Sr) at 3 doses using the Novoste Beta-Cath delivery system Primary endpoint In-hospital MACE.
 
Conclusion
Beta-radiation post-angioplasty is safe and feasible, results in decreased restenosis due to a major change in post-angioplasty late lumen loss index.
