Fallout 4 Wins Game of the Year at DICE Awards 2016

Rocket League, The Witcher 3 & Ori also picked up multiple awards.

The 19th annual DICE Awards have wrapped, and Fallout 4 was the big winner of the evening.

The announcement was made this evening at the Pete Holmes-hosted affair at The Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Other notable winners were The Witcher 3, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Rocket League with 3 gongs each.

As well as the standard game awards, late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata was the recipient of a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award, while Hideo Kojima was inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Hall of Fame.

The Academy is made up of publishers, developers and members of the Independent Game Developers Association.
