The Code of Ethics
Our Code of Ethics formalizes a set of ethical principles common to all of the Vivendi Group entities in terms of respect for people, integrity, asset protection and environmental protection. As such, Dailymotion makes it an essential condition that its own employees and business partners respect these principles.
Anti-corruption Code
An Anti-corruption Code has been drawn up to prevent and identify any potential risks situation. These rules apply to all our employees and all our business partners, including suppliers, subcontractors and intermediaries.
Vigilance Plan
As part of its obligations under the law on the Duty of Care of parent companies and contractors, our Group Vivendi has strengthened its measures to prevent risks and mitigate serious harm that could be caused by the Vivendi group’s activities or those of its suppliers and subcontractors to :
- human rights and fundamental freedoms
- human health and safety
- the environment.
The Group Vigilance Plan is published in Vivendi’s Universal Registration Document.
A group-wide vigilance risk map was drawn up. It was created by consolidating the maps of each subsidiary, including Dailymotion. Targeted risk mitigation measures are associated with this mapping.
The Compliance Audit team, which is part of the group’s Audit Department, is responsible for monitoring the vigilance plan. Risk monitoring and the measures presented in the action plans for these controls are regularly reviewed by the Compliance Committee.
Sustainable Purchasing Policy
As part of its commitment relating to compliance matters and corporate social responsibility, Dailymotion implemented a “Sustainable Purchasing Policy” which presents the principles applicable to purchasing and supply chain activities. Based on the development of ethical and sustainable business relationships and the objective of maintaining a constructive dialogue, it sets out the Group’s expectations in ethical, social and environmental matters. For Dailymotion, compliance with this charter is a substantial condition of a commercial relationship, and we request from our suppliers to formally commit to high ethical standards and to ensure that human rights are protected.
Personal Data Protection
For many years, and more intensively since the implementation of the GDPR in May 2018, Dailymotion has placed the protection of personal data at the heart of its concerns, notably incorporating it into its overall risk management policy and developing a specific privacy compliance roadmap.
Constantly, we thrive to ensure to implement and improve all compliance actions and measures to take into account legislative and regulatory changes and to implement the best practices and recommendations issued by any competent data protection authority in our sector of activity.
