New year’s eve resolutions

Every year, we get the chance to begin again. If 2020 wasn’t quite the year you wanted it to be (a feeling that a lot of ladies can relate to!), then you might be looking to 2021 as a fresh start. A chance to make new resolutions, to stick to new goals, and to feel like a better and brighter version of yourself.

Do you want to create resolutions that speak to your love for fashion and beauty trends and you aren’t quite sure where to start?

We have decided to take a look at some of the best and most popular resolutions you can make – join us and let’s try and stick to them together!

New year, new you

Do you feel like you have been stuck in a style rut? There is no need to stay there! A brand new year is a great time to start seriously thinking about how you can expand your fashion horizons. Every stylish lady gets to a point when her go-to look needs updating. Popular style can change seemingly daily, and there are so many exciting looks to discover.

Our advice is to be brave! Explore new clothing options by looking online and in magazines to see what styles speak to you. Do you want to try out a whole new aesthetic? Instagram is a great place to see some gorgeous girls who rock unique looks that you can try out. Remember that fashion is fun, and you can change up your clothes and look as much as you like. You can decide to try wearing just one item of clothing you wouldn’t usually choose, such as a heeled rather than a flat boot, or go bigger and try to incorporate more bright colours into your wardrobe.

There is no wrong way to be stylish. Your go-to look will always be there – and you might just discover a new favourite.

Bold beauty

Beauty trends seem to change day by day. Have you been doing your makeup in the same way for years? Because we know what looks good on us, we tend to not explore as much as we could. Make 2021 the year that you take a leaf out of the books of all those incredible beauty YouTubers! Watching makeup videos is a great way to discover makeup trends you didn’t even know existed.

Have you just discovered how beautiful a cut crease can look? Or have you always fancied drawing on your own freckles? Even if your beauty goal is just to wear a bright red lipstick, you can make it happen. Remember – a new look might seem shocking at first, but you will get used to it. And you could find out that you love it!

Why not match your incredible new makeup look with a cute haircut? Whether choosing a new colour, cutting in a fringe or just getting a trim, it is a great way to shed the old year and ring in the new.

Health and happiness

Perhaps one of the most popular and important new year’s resolutions is adopting a healthy lifestyle. No matter where you are in your own personal health journey, and no matter what your body shape, you can always commit to feeling better about yourself. A great way to improve your confidence is by adding more fruits and vegetables into your diet and trying to keep up a form of physical exercise.

We aren’t suggesting you get a gym membership you won’t ever use – you should choose an exercise you really enjoy. The important thing is to get moving so you can feel great in your own body, and that doesn’t mean you have to change how your body looks. Dancing around your kitchen can get your blood pumping and make you feel more positive and happy. Going for a brisk walk outside is a brilliant way to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the world around you. You might even try yoga, perfect for relaxing.

However you do it, your healthy lifestyle 2012 goal should be enjoyable, not a chore!

Have you made your list and checked it twice? Good! Then you are ready to take on 2021 with your new year’s resolutions good to go. Whatever you want from the coming year, we know you can achieve it. We will be here throughout the year to bring you all the best beauty news and fashion fun to help you explore bold new looks all year round.
