We’ve been discussing these changes internally and have been taking your feedback into consideration. We’ve reviewed our calculations and have made a decision to apply one final correction, that will increase your Dollar income from both the Apartment and from winning in the Arena. Keep in mind there’s a lot of great improvements and features we plan on adding in the near future, so please do always provide us with your valuable feedback! We treasure our players and their opinion, however, keep in mind that these changes are huge and will require a ton of work on our side and some patience on yours.

We would like to thank all of you who took part in the community discussions about Lady Popular’s current gameplay and the future improvements we would all like to see in the game.
Today we are proud to announce some of the features, we have planned to work on in the next few months.
Keep in mind that all these features are still in discussion and development, so changes will most surely apply.
Weddings
A long awaited feature, the logical continuation of the Engagement Party is almost ready to go live. All you engaged ladies, now it’s time to hire the best wedding planner and prepare the most fantastic and fabulous wedding event in the neighborhood! Expect further details in announcements soon.
Arena
We would like to develop the player-vs-player interaction further by improving the Arena. At the current moment players compete on the arena, based on their Popularity Stats alone. However, LadyPopular is not only a game, but also a social platform about Fashion and Style. We would like to add these elements in the competition. Players will now be able to judge other players by their style and give additional reward.
Ranking
We plan to introduce Leagues and reform the current ranking system. Players will be assigned in smaller groups. Between 100 and 300 players at a similar level will compete versus each other on a weekly basis. Of course, top performers will win additional rewards. Levelling up will place you in a higher league, where competition would be more intense, but reward will also be more generous.
Content
We’ve received many requests that players would like to buy items from previous limited collections, which are no longer available in the game. Furthermore, about a quarter million new players join Lady Popular each month and they have never had the chance to try some of these collections. We are now thinking how to introduce access to these collections again, for everyone.
Basic Economy and Gameplay
This is a constant process which we re-started back in January by introducing a balance change in the Arena – the minimum award players received. We would need to apply a correction, as we allowed a mistake when we introduced this feature. This new income of dollars had been planned to replace the passive income from the apartment. The passive income so far was required, so that active ladies could win dollars from duels with inactive ladies (the apartment added to their dollars automatically). Today we are applying a correction – there will be a limit of the apartment’s passive income and we will keep the minimum award from the arena, which will now vary from 100$ to 300$ based on the player’s level. Further dollar rewards will come with the next improvement – the Style duel.
More changes are planned, so further corrections of the effort/reward mechanisms could apply, we count on your support and patience.
Now the challenged players in the Arena will not gain XP. This change was requested by many players.
Engagement party quests will no longer give XP, as this does not affect the strength of the player, measured in popularity points.
We’ve planned many improvements on this fundamental layer of the game, please be patient, bear with us and allow us to do a gradual change of the game, which we believe will make Lady Popular a more interesting game for everyone on the long run.
New Events
Ladies, many more items and events have been planned and will be introduced during the year. We also plan to reshape some of the current events and mechanics such as the Fashion Machine. You will be able to experience the first new event this month! Bear with us and expect it this February!
