To act in accordance with actions, desires, or expectations of other people, as opposed to one's own. I'm really worried that Kristina will feel pressured to drink and go to parties constantly when she gets to college. When you run with the herd, you usually stop making good choices. I've never felt a need to run with the herd. That's why I'm off the grid now, living how I see fit.
