omit (someone or something) from (something)

To fail, neglect, or choose to leave out a particular person or thing from something. In an unprecedented public snub, the host country omitted the prime minister from the summit guest list. You omitted your sources for the data points you used to make your argument in paragraph four, so I had to deduct points.
