To challenge or respond hostilely to one's threats of violence or menacing, boastful words. Don't buy his woof ticket—I know for a fact that he carries a knife and would be all too happy to put it to use. If that obnoxious drunk guy at the bar finds someone to buy his woof ticket, he's going to get himself knocked out. "All right, tough guy, I'll buy your woof ticket!" But as soon as he stood up and revealed himself to be 6'5", I knew I'd made a terrible mistake.
