Fortnite rolls out new age restrictions and voice reporting to improve community safety. Epic Games says that age ratings are not limited to maps. Instead, they will apply to in-game cosmetics as well, making certain skins unplayable for underage users. The voice reporting feature allows users to submit audio evidence when they report users who are violating the rules. The feature is on by default for players under 18, while older players can customize it to match their needs. Even though Epic Games states that the update aims to help “parents and players make informed play decisions,” many users call it the worst update.
